Have used both of them without problems like you i loved the tsdz2 hope to go back to them again. Fitted one of the new 2020 models with out a problem [not from PSW] with the new colour 850c display and new bafang style plugs but the cable to the display was far to long but it worked well more...

    does continous discharge current matter

The tsdz2 is not that current hungry the peak is less than required for a bbs01 /02 as vfr 400 said above the quality of the cell is more important and the ah capacity affects range

Help! Bottom bracket nut loosening on Tongsheng TSDZ2

Have to agree the rear mount and 2 pieces of flat bar do solve the problem but surprised how thick it needed to be before it stopped the flex and how awkward is was to get both side flat and in full contact Seen a few conversions with it not fitted or just hanging

Tongsheng TSDZ2 - uphill performance lacking

How fast are the pedals turning cadence and is it the 36v model or 48v, the torque difference is large between the two versions thats why woosh only sell the 48v to his spec. After my own back to back test in the same bike the 36 v was ok on the flat but could not sustain a high load of even...

Help! Bottom bracket nut loosening on Tongsheng TSDZ2

The problem is the tsdz2 bracket is flat and unless you put a few cuts or scores on the frame side it is just an odd flat washer slipping on a painted frame .The bafang has embossed dimples and grips or bites into the frame if tightened sufficiently The tsdz2 with its multi point fix should...

Tongsheng TSDZ2 - uphill performance lacking

Try a gear change before you hit the bottom of the hill and keep the pedals spinning Slower top speed and on a larger rear gear, its harder if you have to change gear to get the motor back to its happy spot [pedal cadance]

Help! Power/Torque Upgrade for Heavy Duty Soundsystem Trike

The German diff is what i used in the picture the shafts require flats and a pin through the shaft , doubt it will take the power of the bbshd. But mine was pushing fat tyres and only three speeds with a 36 tooth lekkie but the low speed control was excellent walking pace up to 10mph over that...

Doubt you will do a diff and shafts and the motor in your budget, samagga is the off the shelf option, have used once, very well made and heavy duty but to machine the shafts to a non standard length added to the cost The east German guy has disappeared that made a cheaper option seen in...

Unfortunately it is yet another ts niggle, i make up anti turn brackets and gouge marks on the inside of the new washer [the bbs has dimples] use loctite and hit the spanner with a mallet Not a problem if the rear mount is used and tight onto the stays . But a headache if fitted to a full...

Use a 6v relay[needs a diode across the coil] to switch from the tsdz2 light output and then 48v lights powered from the battery will hide well in your controller box looks a very nice build
