    CYCLE TUBE SEALANT

I posted the following some time ago - it says it all for me: Just for info.... 5 miles from home and 20 miles into my ride last night I managed to run over 2 hawthorn hedge trimmings, complete with spikes, in my front tyre (Marathon Mondial). I stopped, thinking it was just a twig stuck in the...

    Hello

I would suggest a bit of serious grovelling followed by a nicely gift-wrapped adapter:) Jim

Ongoing reliability of Kalkhoff/Focus Impulse 2 motors

+1 for the estreetp which seems to be on offer from FLI at the moment. A good deal on a very good bike. Jim

    Air compressor

Another one to consider, but it's hard to say if it would be powerful enough. Jim

    Air compressor

Many thanks for the recommendations - a lot to think about. I'm quite impressed by the Wolf Little Cub however going by Google I seem to have missed out on a good offer. I'll maybe try the sellers and see if there's a current offer. Thanks again. Jim

    Air compressor

Any recommendations for a small air compressor which would be used mainly for blowing water out of gear cogs and other nooks and crannies after servicing the bike and before lubing? I already have a "Ring" make compressor for car/bike tyres which works after a fashion but I'd like something with...

Economic courier service for moving bicycles/ebikes

I've used Paisleyfreight once without a problem. They don't seem to supply boxes though. Jim

    All my miles gone.

I'm almost certain (but not certain enought to try it!) that the ODO on my KTM EStreetP can be reset. On my previous KTM with the same LCD display, I accidentally reset the ODO to 0000.00 but was able to re-enter the mileage which I had earlier noted. Jim

Is there a governing body to report a rogue e bike trader/retailer to ?

That is simply beyond comprehension! Maybe he's starting to collect parts for a build-your-own bike :( Jim

    Confused!

I use the Thule Europower 916 carrier mounted on a detachable towball to carry 2 ebikes on my Yeti and can recommend it. As far as I am aware none of the clip-on type carriers is suitable for the weight of 2 ebikes. Hope this helps. Jim

Spotted! Although, not quite an ebike. :)

LP - In my former occupation I experienced exactly what you describe. Thankfully that is now many years in the past however it probably made me more outspoken than I ought to be. Regards. Jim

Spotted! Although, not quite an ebike. :)

LP - My reply to your post was not intended to be offensive however that is how it seemed to come across and for that I apologise. I'm happy to say that on quite a few occasions I have enjoyed a friendly chat with other cyclists, both electric and non-electric, on the merits or otherwise of our...

    Slime works

Just for info.... 5 miles from home and 20 miles into my ride last night I managed to run over 2 hawthorn hedge trimmings, complete with spikes, in my front tyre (Marathon Mondial). I stopped, thinking it was just a twig stuck in the mudguard, but no such luck. I could hear the air hissing out...

    Italian pedelec crash *ouch!*

My granny would have said. "She's no better than she ought to be!" (I never understood it either.) I expect the bloke who was shouting to her was calling her a cheat :) Jim

    Boncho: Good/Bad?

It's a present day, short-a***ed take on the good old fashioned bike cape which I used as a message boy in the 1950s. The old capes were much longer and afforded good protection. (Flecc - the link was "this product") Jim
