The motor stores the milage that's why your head unit reads 0 miles. I have two and if I switch the clocks over they read what the motors has done. Great news yamaha swapped it foc for you, but I'm sure it is possible to strip and replace a bearing just not easy enough for the average shop to do...
Anyone else want to do this they are happy for electric bike to take part just tick the box when entering

100 miles hope my battery lasts
Bought a Haibike allmtn pro a few weeks ago. The Rockshox shock has started to leek. Brought the bike back to e-bikedirect today and so I don't have to wait for it to be repaired they are fitting a new one. Very good service.
I'm nothing to do with the shop just happy customer waiting for his bike.
I'm now looking forward to a holiday next week as we go in a motorhome and the bike is my main transport once camped. The all mtn is a bit much for a day out
I've had it on e bay for a while and was getting silly offers, £500 ish. I've now just sold a couple of other things and paid off the new All mtn so going to keep both. :) Not for sale any more
I don't think the ball is not touching the wheel the ball rolls down on the wheel and the magnet pulls it back, but it travels back to the maget by the wheel moving. All movement of the ball must be small and rotating.
