The eMTB mode replaces the previous Sport mode of the PerformanceLine CX and varies between the driving modes Tour and Turbo. With a maximum torque of up to 75 Nm, the engine dynamically boosts the driver's own power between 120% and 300%. Depending on the pedal pressure, the progressive engine support automatically adjusts to the individual driving mode. The engine supports the ideal performance, even at low tread frequencies, without switching the drive stage.

The highlights at a glance

  • No triggers: no change to more driving fun. Changing the support modes is not necessary, the driver can focus entirely on the trail.
  • Direct Flow : Perfect support from the first step. Start-up on steep climbs is noticeably easier.
  • Progressive support: for a natural feel and optimal control. Depending on the pedal pressure, the progressive engine support automatically adjusts to the individual driving mode.
  • Trail Control : Improved control in difficult driving situations. Allows for effortless advance and best traction in technical uphill passes and obstacles.
  • Maximum torque: With a torque of up to 75 Nm. The engine dynamically boosts the driver's own performance dynamically between 120% and 300%, and also accelerates the sport in alpine terrain.
  • Ultimate Uphill Flow: As a driver, the driver is always in the flow.

I noticed the range of support 120% to 300% of user input. That means the user has to put in between 45% and 75% of the required energy.
Imagine climbing up some steep hills. No wonder Bosch bikes keep you fit and Chinese bikes make you lazy.

Hey SW, how do they update with purion fitted? Blurb suggests retro fitting purion may need an update so it must be possible..
