    Walk mode.

There might be many reasons for using this mode;- On a hill too steep to ride up, too wet and muddy for riding traction, going up steps, full panniers on a commuter or touring bike, crossing a stream or bridge safely, walking with a friend, broken ribs or some other injury that prevents you...

    Looking for a first eMTB

That's about as good as it gets really. Insure your bike, just in case though. :) http://www.chengduliving.com/5-steps-to-prevent-your-bike-from-getting-stolen-in-china/

    Walk mode.

@rich_r You're right in your guess Sir. :) Walk mode does require the button to be constantly pressed. In both of my cases, I press the down button for 2 seconds and then it kicks into walk mode. Stopping when finger pressure is released. Remember this.. This made me chuckle! :D

    Walk mode.

That sounds feasible and you may be right. I'll test your theory tomorrow. To me, 6 kmh seems more like falling over speed for an ebike. We'll see. :) Anyway, I want to see if I can get it to 'trundle off into the sunset.' :D

Do you think that there might a button press combination that allows you to not need to keep your finger pressed down?

    Walk mode.

Fair enough on regular light bike use. You may never need it. But, as someone pointed out on my youtube video comments, it may be useful with full panniers when touring. I find it hard to believe that, especially for those that ride in extreme uphill mountain bike conditions, that there's no...

    Walk mode.

Apparently Bosch German bikes have it and USA Bosch bikes don't.

    Walk mode.

Those 2 bikes differ. But each is activated by pressing and holding a single button. I suppose that you could just use the throttle if you have one fitted. Best to check the manual or the website pertaining to your bike first. Or just go trial and error. :)

    Walk mode.

This is what got me thinking about walk mode.. :D Do the more expensive eMTB's have a walk mode?

    Walk mode.

Have you ever used yours? Did you even know that you had one? Do you have one, or are you not sure? Do you know how to activate it? It certainly beats pushing on the steeper, unrideable ascents! :)

Points on an ebike. It beggars belief doesn't it! The lunatics are definitely running the asylum over there.

    Cyclotricity battery problem!

Out of curiosity, how far will it go before the batt's flat?
