I've done it all wrong! Do I start again?

Hi Don We build bikes to order and have a range of options for each in our range. If you have a look at our site you will see a "Choose Yours" section for each bike, that presents a menu for upgrades and options, like hydraulic brakes, handlebar types, forks and batteries.

Inflated tyres are for lazy people...

Yes indeed! Often, when a potential customer feels the weight of an e-bike, lifting it, at that point I remind them: "It's heavy for a bike, but bl**dy light for a motorbike!"

Yep. Buxton, 1975, June, Match abandoned due to snow. I can see the ground from my office!

Inflated tyres are for lazy people...

"Using air in tyres is simply cheating!" Sometimes I get a desired reaction from the e-bike cynics using this statement and we can get past the "e-bikes are for lazy people" misconception. Anybody got any other ideas? On a cold wet day in June it might be a good time to plan some new...

Are electric bikes just for lazy people?

Not so sure myself. Evidence: After offering interest free credit for 18 months we've only recently had a significant uptake. Assumption: I do think people are finding purchase of large items more difficult and every little help they can get the better. Conclusion: I do think a reduction...

    I need your advice

Welcome to the forum Slim. Your route isn't particularly demanding and a standard 10ah 36V machine, with a hub motor, which is the less expensive and more established type, would easily cope. Your 100Kgs shouldn't be a problem: most bikes are warranted at this weight. I don't believe Halfords...

    Hello all

Hi Ryan and welcome. So pleased you've chosen a Juicy! It will be good to hear about your experiences using it. I'm just inspecting the latest Sports this very morning, probably seeing yours in fact. Cycle scheme can take a few weeks to process but is well worth waiting for the saving you can...

    Bearprint bike problems

If you popped into a Freego dealer and tried a 16ah battery you could at least identify whether that was the issue. If it is the controller a replacement should be easy to source from abroad, if not from Uk. Cost should be around £30. There are lots of Freego dealers down south...

    Death notification

I really really wanted one. Only issue was the name sounding too much like"shopper", which is what I got that Christmas.

    Bearprint bike problems

Hi CBS I'm not sure the problem lies with the battery. It seems more like a controller issue to me. if you were near to us (South Manchester / Peak District) you would be welcome to come and try one of our 16AH batteries in place, to see if that solved your issue. We don't have any 500Watt...

    New bikes coming to Penrith.

How refreshing! You have set a fine example. Really, I think the blatant and patronisingly inappropriate response advertising is a real turn-off. Take Eddie's advice (he'll give it whether or not you ask for it) and keep your posts as genuinely helpful as possible and I can't see any harm...

Which would be best? Or something completely different?

By far the most extensive range of bikes to try is in South London - a bit of a jaunt for you, but well worth the trip to see plenty of bikes: E-Bikes Direct in Battersea - excellent shop (and they stock Juicy).
