    battery done ?

Hi Alan OK, so not one of our bikes. It does sound like the battery has a defective cell within, though this could have been caused by a defective charger (showing the battery as charged when it actually wasn't). I suggest that tampering with the battery yourself is dangerous and I would not...

    advice please!

Hi Adam Where in the country are you? We should be able to point you towards a good local dealer who has a range of bikes to let you try. The good thing about going off for a decent ride is that you won't have to listen to the dealer browbeat you! I hope you get to try a Juicy, but the only...

    battery done ?

Hi Alan If you can give me the frame number, battery number or a photo I can let you know if this is a genuine Juicy and see if we can help. We keep stocks of all parts for all our bikes and should get you back on the road quickly. My only concern is that you say this is an "unbranded" bike.

    Pedal not peddle!

I used to teach programming, when C and C++ were popular languages. Dyslexics loved it, being able to make up their own words which had meaning within the context of the source code. They were generally very successful at it, but that could well have been due to my brilliant teaching, of...

    Pedal not peddle!

Bode. You've got to do this more. We need telling how it should be! Take a leaf out of Lee Scratch Perry's book... Hat's off to you: "Top Judge" Bode or should that be hats-off... I meant, (My) hat (is) off, by way of respect, but equally all our hats should be at the very least, tipped in...

    Freego Eagle Broken Frame ??

You may not be aware that Martin at Freego has been very poorly recently. This may go some way to explain a temporary lapse in Freego's otherwise excellent service. I am sure you will find they will not stint on coming to the rescue. Freego are now signed-up members of BEBA, so you should be...

    2012 Juicy Bike Sport review

Really pleased you like the bike Ryan. Thanks for such a detailed review which I hope you will follow-up after some months of use. A tip-up saddle option is available, but without the suspension. Give the shop a call if you want one sent over for you to try.

I need to decide between a mtb & a road bike

Try a search for "Hybrid electric bike" and see where that takes you. If you're riding along prepared trails, rather than off-trail then you will have a much greater choice, and much better range when on the road. I wouldn't let your choice be restricted by the tyres that come with the bike...

    A Dilemma.....Advice Needed

This is not really the end of the world. £300 spent and to expect a warranty, when bigger dealers are selling "test bikes" for more, without any warranty, seems a little skewed beyond what is typically expected. I think you've come across someone who has made a commitment he can not keep, but...

Another Newbie (in Herts) overwhelmed by choice of bike

Hi Paul The Wisper 905 is an excellent bike with many admirers on these forums. It will easily cope with your commute and the company has an excellent reputation for service through its dealers. The larger battery offered by Wisper is perhaps over-kill for your journey, but perhaps will...

    Shall I Charge It.......Or Not ??

What size battery and motor Del? 10AH, 250W and 36V gives a range of about 30miles (or should). As a rule of thumb: keep your battery between 50 and 95% charged. ie charge just before you go and recharge after you've accumulated about half your range.
