Shall I Charge It.......Or Not ??

Since installing trip meter a week ago, I have done 10.5 miles [or thereabouts], question is should I charge the battery now, or, carry on and see how far it will actually go on a charge ? the indicator says battery is still half full, advice please !!.........Del.

What size battery and motor Del?
10AH, 250W and 36V gives a range of about 30miles (or should).
As a rule of thumb: keep your battery between 50 and 95% charged. ie charge just before you go and recharge after you've accumulated about half your range.

With lithium batteries, if in doubt whether to charge or not, charge is the best choice since they prefer to be topped up by part charging than emptied and fully charged. The latter shortens their life.

An advantage with topping up is the you always go out with the best performance, running with the latter part of battery charge means your bike is never at it's best then.
