    He's tall for his height.

I wondered why this woman had her hand under the blokes genitalia. No wonder he's smiling. Then I saw the tandem. :D

    He's tall for his height.

I fully agree with you. :) Although nowadays he's getting hard to keep up with. Even if I'm on an ebike! He hasn't changed since he started biking aged 4. I can only imagine that he must have inherited his dad's strava streak. Cos he doesn't get it from me! :D

    He's tall for his height.

Indeed. Little Britain is an amazing place to live. :) He'll be tall enough to ride around the park next year. In the unlikely event that he gets 'the pull' he can pay the fine out of his pocket money. :D You watched it all. Wow. :D I buzz off giving folks their first ebike ride. That the...

Dalston fatal e-bike crash rider 'going too fast' - Court Case

No apologies necessary. :) It's a persec (personal security) issue. Since the net began I've always used that nickname, another date of birth, and an address that is not my real one. I've seen many of my uniformed ex colleagues fall foul of crime, and worse still, breaching I.T policy via FB...

Dalston fatal e-bike crash rider 'going too fast' - Court Case

It's 'Leigh'. My mother wanted a girl and don't bother saying that she wasn't disappointed then. I've heard it. :D I do realise that what you may have liked to have happen, with tweaked bike riders, as a result of this case won't come to fruition. Don't get upset. Just let it go. There's...

I won't argue with that, because I'm neither for nor against that viewpoint. :p

I agree.. You argue about 'everything'! :p It's our right to do that. The real argument, relating to this thread, has been won in court. The fact that he got off seemed to be a hard pill for some to swallow. The defendant leaving the scene, perhaps to throw a dongle in the bin, who...

Cheers. :) Yes, the MGTF was a great car of it's time. It handled well and is superbly balanced due to the engine being in the middle. Other small roadsters couldn't make those bends so well. Their back ends had a tendency to throw out and 'drift'.

Coolio! :) Classic cars are such great fun. Here's my MG doing 15.5 mph up the hill at Hartside pass. :D

Dalston fatal e-bike crash rider 'going too fast' - Court Case

Probably because of the 'we have something in common' factor. Which makes it relevant and of interest if you ride an ebike. Legally or otherwise. :) Survival is an intrinsic value of all living things. Mankind has simply made it an art-form. :p

You mean once they've done with that piece of evidence they're going to crush it? I think that might be a foregone conclusion. Besides, from what I saw of the bike, it won't take much to finish it off. I can't see him being audacious enough to want it back. :)

Dalston fatal e-bike crash rider 'going too fast' - Court Case

Accepting a result is not the same as defending it. The result, whether we find it to be just or unjust, has been reached. It was simply a tragic accident, caused primarily by the deceased woman. Nothing will bring her back and, in the eyes of the law, judgement has been delivered. Even if some...

This;- :D the law is a ass Said of a law that one thinks is unnecessary or ridiculous. The phrase comes from Charles Dickens' novel Oliver Twist:"The law is a ass—an idiot."
