Biggest cause of punctures is poorly inflated tires. So a good pump includes a pressure gauge.

    New Gtech ebike

You've formed AN opinion. And seem to be proposing that one opinion to be a whole solution for the ebike industry. Which is naive. You've also insulted ebike shops, which is why I took issue with you. I know there are many slices to the market. I have stated so on many occasions. Most, by...

    New Gtech ebike

Oh! If only you'd told me that 8 years ago! 8 years ago I was still using this forum for advice. Silly me. I'm trolling on down to book in on a web-marketing course...

    New Gtech ebike

Are you saying you have limited experience of ebike shops? That I can understand. All ebike shops we supply are, on the contrary, friendly and helpful, and more to the point, experienced in a wide variety of electric bikes, able to give informed and reasoned advice.

    Bike for smaller people.

Hi Fiona Very wise to try any bike before you buy. Our Poco 24" wheeled bike arrives with us in later this month and will be available to try with our Retailers as and when they order stock. We will also be sending some to France, Nr. Bergerac during the early summer (new retailer). From my...

1-1-2016 Today's Change in the Law.

They have issued guidance to the BA since a meeting in January which indicated that when they spell things out properly the "Start Assist" function of throttles would be acceptable, but this has still got no further than guidance to manufacturers and retailers. "Cycles where power can be...

    Newbie Advie

Gbay, from the two bikes you asked about, and their suitability for Green Lane use, then they both need to be rather more of a mountain bike than a road bike - I'm guessing you need suspension at least along with the usual trappings of a typical MTB. Of the two, the Oxygen is the one I would...

    Torque sensor hub motor

There's a bit of feedback and discussion about Xofo at the Endless Sphere Forums. I don't have any experience of them personally but that forum (I'm sure you're aware) is a tad more technical and nerdy than this and I do turn to it for background info... Still always the case of weighing up one...

I stand corrected again. Apologies all. Not sure 600W peak is enough.

    Torque sensor hub motor

Don't see any Torque sensor shown and the spec on the motor doesn't look that brilliant in terms of peak output. Perhaps they are emulating a torque system by way of a sine wave controller, which maybe isn't what you are looking for. Pity - we're looking at torque sensors right now.

    Floods in Cumbria,amazing reading.

Some grouse moors above the affected region, popular with the shooting set and owned by some of the richest landed gentry, have been drained to improve their sport. This has been a major contributor to the floods. And I believe grants of £2.5M were given to the land owner above Hebden Bridge to...
