Hi All
I am a 57 years old unfit new bike rider from Kent and have been recently enjoying riding off road easy tracks
But struggle with hills ,electric bikes look very appealing so I could increase distance covered and increase riding time . I would like to be able to cover around 10 to 15 miles mostly flat with a few hills at a easy pace on a mountain bike style of bike I currently weigh 20 stones hopefully cycling will help reduce this ,any advice as to which bike max £1000 pounds should I be thinking about any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi Gbay
Don't think about it - go try one! There are loads out there in all styles and colours. Just find one that you feel comfortable upon, is affordable and sold locally from people you like the look-of.
You will get loads of suggestions from members with their own preferences and views, but I believe a local supplier with a good reputation should be a big priority for you.

As Juicybike says, the best way to go about it is to try a few. They are not all the same and their differing systems bring personal preference very strongly into play.

The one you like best will be the best one for you. The ones others like best won't necessarily be.
