to buy or not to buy?!

I guess it's no different to an individual ordering direct from China - Aliexpress, Banggood etc and paying the import duty themselves when it arrives in the UK, they (or the customer) are avoiding VAT unless there is VAT paid by the company locally in China (probably not). I guess it comes...

to buy or not to buy?!

Surely PSWPower who ship from Germany will be paying VAT applicable in Germany (16%) on every sale regardless of where it is exported to within the EU ?

    More TSDZ2 woes!

Am currently considering another mid drive to replace my knackered Yosepower Rear Hub motor on my MTB (already have a year old 2000 mile trouble free BBS01 on my hybrid) and was thinking about a TSDZ2, but after reading some recent threads on reliability and other issues, I might just buy...

    Paintwork protection ?

I use MUD. Once applied it forms a protective coating, which improves over the course of the winter . Come springtime I just remove with water and hey presto! lovely paintwork and no rust

    Conversions and the law

It's back down to 21.229% now as BigJohn72 overheated and blew up his Yose350W while giving his mate a backkie on the way to the pub this afternoon. He's slung it in the neighbours skip in a fit of rage, and was last seen heading for Halfords apparently mumbling about going legit with a Carrera...

Help! Buget ebike for a budget of €1500 for leisure cycling

it's a lower spec motor and 418wh battery plus 200 quid more than the city 300 I linked to, so not so much a deal. at 1299 with that spec I might of taken a risk with planet x

Help! Buget ebike for a budget of €1500 for leisure cycling

The 2 below, at £1299 are probably among the cheapest crank drive bikes available in the UK at present. Some may warn you off Plant X as a reliable supplier though. The Frappe 300 represents great value with a 500wh battery and Shimano Steps E6100 motor (60nM)...

For upto £4k which ebike for red trails and maybe one day black?

I think you both are missing the point, the bikes are different models, the H30 with a 500w powertube battery the H25 with a 625w powertube battery, the rest of the specs are identical

For upto £4k which ebike for red trails and maybe one day black?

That extra £300 is halfway to a spare powertube 500 battery, will keep the bike lighter and you'll have mega all day range with the spare ready in the car boot for mid day swap out

Swapping a Cube Kathmandu for Cube Stereo or ORBEA Wild?

The Cube looks great, like the Kiox display, navigation is a cool integration if you can get the trails uploaded to your phone and then onto the display. Is the 27.5 wheel size the best choice for downhill bikes nowadays ? The bigger battery on the cube would swing it for me too, 25% more than...

Spent £2600 on the wrong bike?

Thats a heavy bike at about 27kg, and the geometry wont lend itself to downhill/technical riding either. Keep the Kat and drop another £3.8k on below and at least you'll be able to use both batteries on both bikes for all day MTB'ing or long touring rides/ holidays...afterall, it's only money...
