    Ebike battery fire

Until I got in to ebikes I'd have laughed at you if you told me there was such a thing as 58.8V charger....education could make a significant difference to the amount of fires and deaths we're seeing.

    Ebike battery fire

All ebike batteries should come with a difficult to remove asset type sticker that tells you the correct charger rating to use, so for my 52V Hailong it would have a sticker saying: ******************************* ******WARNING****** ONLY USE MANUFACTURERS 58.8V CHARGER TO AVOID FIRE...

Pro-Cyclist breaks collarbone after Glasgow crash with e-bike rider who 'fell into River Clyde'

I'm sorry you had to drag your head away from your Saturday Daily Mail to post this rubbish, he's on drugs....quick, lets stone him to death!

Pro-Cyclist breaks collarbone after Glasgow crash with e-bike rider who 'fell into River Clyde'

The most dangerous thing about that video is the moron cops driving high powered motorbikes like arseholes while they pretend to drive like pros, they took pretty much every opportunity to try and harass him in to crashing, then when he evaded them just pushed him in to the bushes, illegal on...

Pro-Cyclist breaks collarbone after Glasgow crash with e-bike rider who 'fell into River Clyde'

The two guys involved in the crash with ebiker are t0ssers, imagine riding at that speed round a blind corner on paths frequented by the public, imagine if it had been cpl kids he'd turned the blind corner and ran in to like a missile (enough velocity to send him over the railings). Should've...

Pro-Cyclist breaks collarbone after Glasgow crash with e-bike rider who 'fell into River Clyde'

The most interesting thing that's happened during the UCI nonsense (the BMX was worth a watch though). I feel sorry for the ebiker that ended up in the Clyde, too many pr1cks in lycra, I don't really get competitive cycling, most are cheats (or need a dump...)? Will be glad when they've...

Yet more stuff in the media on battery fires and kits

How may DIY ebike kits bought form internet (regardless of power or whether or not it is 250W or 3000W), catch fire? Answer: None, because metal cannot catch fire without a source. So it is at best disingenuous to discourage to kits, they should 100% be focusing on education around batteries...

Yet more stuff in the media on battery fires and kits

Most of his points are valid however bringing higher powered hub kits in to the equation just muddies the waters, have you ever heard of anything other then the battery catching fire or being root cause?

    Mirrors...or Not ?

I don't think you'll ever great a great view but at least seeing if there is something behind you is safer than having to look behind to see. I have a zefal dooback grip one on RHS, works OK but is easily knocked, I find it more useful than not so it's still on bike

Bike chased late Friday night by loons

If you know most of the number plate characters you can guess the missing ones and check the model here (assuming it's been MOT'd...) https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status

    E-Bikes: The phenomenon, The Problem.

This is a typical BlackBeltBarrister video, pretty much content free and you'll learn nothing you probably didn't already know. He's done feck all research, like pretty much every video of his I've watched (I don't any more). He jumped on the Johhny Depp / Amber Turd case and has been plugging...

eBike Rear Hub - Clicking Noise

Thanks again. Me taking the hub motor apart is last resort at moment though. Emailed company down south I bought kit from and he's gotten back (which I appreciate as it's 3 months out of warranty), this is latest message, being honest I'm not quite sure what he means, does this make sense to...
