    Ryanair,incompetent or inconsiderate?

That's exactly the point, well said. I'm off to Krakow end of Oct with Ryanair (at least i hope so) paying much, much less than any of the other airlines allowing us to do these weekend breaks. I accept minimal service, as i do if i go into Lidl for the price. If i wanted better service then i...

    Potential Motor issue

I had similar issue and it was the chain. When the cranks arms are on is there any play (sign of worn bearings), have you cleaned / lubricated the bearing area, does it rough rough/gritty, again could be sign of wear. I've found these bike need a bit more maintenance than standard bike. have...

NEC Cycle Show 2017: Wisper e-MTBs, Swytch & other highlights

If they paid for the track to show off their motors and other manufacturers didn't it makes perfect business sense to restrict to Bosch motor use only. Let the others invest in their own track or share costs.

    Pedal vibration at speed

Agree. Like iPhones, people just don't upgrade every year. I don't think battery tech will improv much, but hopefully motors and gearing will.

    Pedal vibration at speed

Nice looking bikes. I fancy a dual battery bike, but 1000w capacity and intergrated in frame. I'm holding back to see what motor improvements they make if any 2019, internal hub gears etc?. The only differences between our bikes and the new 2018 is really just battery integration, not convinced...

    Pedal vibration at speed

Yeah, next bike maybe 2019 if tech has improved much, over existing 2016 bike. I will look at both full suss and h'tail, see how my back feels.

    A question about lumens.

At night I tend to ride with 2 lights minimum i.e. bar light and head light. It's a great combo even on road.

    After much deliberation..

Last night reminded me why I own an e-bike. I fancied a quick spin at local woods which is still 6 miles away. Got on bike used speed dongle and was there in half the time it would normally taken me. One button to switch dongle off and into eco/tour mode to enjoy local woods. Went down squirrel...

    Q128C 25mph fast hybrid commuter build/ride report

Regarding bag, I'd have gone for one from Alpkit they can make them bespoke and are now totally waterproof, invaluable in winter.

    A question about lumens.

In most cases, get what you pay for. I was messing about with magnishine, gemini and cree led's etc over 8 years ago for good reason as lupine was king then and prices ran up to £700. Chinese batteries were always crap n never sealed, lights overheated etc I'm sticking with what i said had my...

    Bosch Nyon Dead

Used to have a garmin etrex 30, which i used for trekking and you can get attachment for bike. IMHO the the non is good for occasional road biking, but always felt flimsy and the reboot put me off it. As i said, don't regret prion as simple n less to go wrong. Garmin does a much better job than...

    A question about lumens.

Look at exposure lights. They have motion tech etc built in and will adjust light and beam. UK product to boot. Don't waste your money on cheap chinese crap like i did. Many of my friends have exposure lights , service second to none. One friend abused him bike/lights big time, he crashed and...

    Bosch Nyon Dead

Suggest getting it to a dealer to do a full factory reset and update. That solved my problem and it was fine after this. Not something you can do yourself unfortunately due to Bosch controls on programs. Have to say, get it fixed and sell on eBay. Buy yourself a purion as i feel it much more...

    Yes or no?

If you like the price and bike, 1000 miles is no problem. I would get some kind of warranty off dealer.

I'm not going to get on my high horse with idiots who says it cheating, as cheating who?. Anyway, the mtb club i'm in are brilliant and recognise it as the future of biking.
