Full suspension semi recumbent for long journey

Don't be downhearted Cwah, it's par for the course on this site. That's why so many people visit but never return. Keep on with your project - you're doing better than I am with the Juiced frame!

    Show us your ebikes

Well, this is my 10,000+ miles everyday bike, three and a half years old. Kit from Panda, Battery from Jimmy at Insat: This is my 'in the pipeline' bike : and this is the bike I would like, with a 3-speed disc hub and some rack mountings welded on the front...

Help! Is there a market for the Wisper Wayfarer?

This video just popped up on YouTube: It gives a very good idea of what is involved in building a new bike, and all the things you have to sort out, David. It's not easy, is it?*!

Help! Is there a market for the Wisper Wayfarer?

Sorry, that should have been the Ursus Jumbo 80 Twin-leg folding stand. A purpose-made rack for the mounting lugs would make sense, as well. We can come up with all these suggestions - it's easy! I used to work in a shop where people came in and said things like: 'You should stock' or 'Why don't...

Help! Is there a market for the Wisper Wayfarer?

At that price, I would like an Ursus Big Foot stand, steering stabiliser and lugs for a front rack, similar to Tern, Edge, Juiced, Rad Power etc. I would also expect Samantha Fox to come round once a month to run a duster over the spokes. It's not easy designing these bikes, is it? There's...

    Electric bike magazine?

I was looking to see if there are any sites for ebikes when I came on this discussion on Pedelecs. The best and most constant site I have found is https://electricbikereport.com/ He seems to cover anything to do with ebikes from all over the world, not just the USA. Very good site.

    Confused by all the choice

I notice there is no address for Edge, and the spec given for the bikes is rather limited, when you compare it with the Woosh site and the response you get from Woosh on here. Hmmm...... makes you think.

    Confused by all the choice

I've just had a look at the Edge bikes, and notice the front rack mounting points welded on. This is one of the things I have been looking for in my ideal ebike. I notice the central battery, so the weight is in the right place. I just have to wait for one with a front motor, so that I have more...

Help! Is there a market for the Wisper Wayfarer?

I would not say you are barking, but it seems a lot of money for an electric bike! I know I've mentioned the Radpower step-through before, but that is a meaty bike that converts to about £1200. By all means produce a bike for the larger rider, but surely alloy is adequate. Just my two penn'orth.

    Stratospheric prices

'Popular on the continent on practical bikes.' That says it all, for me, about our attitude to cycling in this country.... When I first found the Dutch Bike Bits website, I was amazed at what was available for bikes. Things I never knew existed.

Well, I was reading the post on anti-dumping taxes, which is not very cheering. The man from Wisper mentions he intends to build bikes in this country, and speaks of giving customers the choice of what they would like, then building it for them. I found this...

    Stratospheric prices

No complaints about your company! I kept the handlebars from my Santana because they were so comfortable! (And the rack). The Rio LS in your range is about the nearest to what I would like, but not those tyres! Seeing this bike from Rad Power made me think of what might be available. It has...

    Stratospheric prices

Funnily enough, I have just been trawling through the ALIBaba site to see what sort of electric bikes are available. There is quite a range, but none match exactly what I would like. I thought of posting on here to see if people were interested in listing exactly what they wanted in an ebike. As...

    Child/Cargo Carrying Bikes? Any?

http://practicalcycles.com/ have some choices. The Italian one looks promising, and similar in principle to the Juiced Bikes offering: https://www.juicedbikes.com/collections/e-bikes/products/odk-u350 I have experience of child seats, and they seem very high up and unstable. The 20 inch wheels...

Is this the next generation of Ebike?

You mean this type? http://www.feneticwellbeing.com/shop/fenetic-energy-step-through-electric-bike/ I use my bike every day, and in recent weeks have noticed quite an increase in the number of ebikes around. Most are going too fast to let me see what they are, but the ones parked outside shops...

Thanks for that, Soundwave. Lots of cargo bikes in there, which isn't really 'You'! I would not have known about this video otherwise. Cheers.

    New Gtech ebike

The advert for this bike was on again yesterday, at a time when Old Farts like myself would be watching. I still feel it is over-priced for what it is, but if you are happy and out on the road, then good for you. A lot of the GTech stuff seems dear for what it is, with very clever marketing...
