    Comfort V Weight penalty

In the process of making my steed the Woosh Faro as lightweight as possible. At the moment am running like a gravel type bike ie no mudguards no back rack no kick stand 700c x 35c tyres with lightweight tubes. Replaced pedals with carbon ones and have on order all carbon saddle and low riser...

Best for hill climbing. 350watt vs 250watt

Sorry to crash the thread but do some manufacturers make 48v downtube batteries with 20A controller built into the holding cradle housing, and would this be to much voltage/amperage for the 250W aikema s85x motor. Just trying to live and learn.

    Wisper Wisper 705se disc pads

The choice of compatible disc pads is quite bewildering when searching the plethora of different codes etc. A quick email to the support team of the company from whom the bike was purchased makes the ordeal much more painless.

Help! light bike very good on steep hills?

Lightweight and powerful don’t always go hand in hand. Normally the lighter ebikes have a smaller, hence less powerful motor with a smaller range battery. Larger more powerful motors and longer range batteries coming at a weight penalty. The choice mainly comes down to fitness ie using less...

    Wisper Tyres

Once you decide on size look at the marathon original greenguard tyres as an alternative to marathon plus as they are lighter, have much less rolling resistance and are almost as puncture proof. Level 5 protection. Have fitted both and the originals seem smoother and grippier and cheaper.

    Help please...First ebike

Woosh Camino with the largest battery capacity, more suspension, bigger tyres more powerful motor probably suit you better. Never owned one but can recommend these bikes for build quality and after sales support.

    Help please...First ebike

My vote goes to the Woosh Faro as your height is perfect for the bike but your weight is close to the borderline of the bikes limitations. I’m 6ft and since getting mine have gone from 15 stone to under 14 with diet and regular rides since May last year. As for “fairly powerful” that’s a massive...

    LCD display

Thank you, sorry but I don’t half sweat the small stuff especially where the Steed is concerned.

    LCD display

Last few rides have observed what looks like a bouble behind the screen of my display. KD85c more pronounced at beginning of rides and gone after finishing. Course for alarm or weather/temperature related. The bike is stored in daughter's garage not used much during bad weather but this has...

Ebikes and the Unfit Very Heavy Rider - A Cautionary Tale for Newcomers

There’s no one can make you ride the long steep road to fitness. The motivation willingness and drive all have to come from within but we can add support and encouragement. Discover a short flat circuit to ride and build from there, slowly increase distance in relation to time. Try this over...

    Discrimination against bicycles

Glass strewn across cycle paths that run alongside roads and have quite obviously been thrown from vehicles. Just wondering if these same wanna be brain surgeons are the ones driving on green grassed areas to marvel at the marks and mess the tyres leave behind.

Woosh Newbie saying hi, looking at a Woosh Camino

Hi can highly recommend Woosh bikes having the Faro myself for coming up to 1 year and just over 1000 miles without any issues with any components Had marathon plus at 28c and have extracted shards of glass that have sliced off sections of tread, clearly showing the blue protection, and yet still...

A young fit seasoned cyclist claims to achieve 35-40 miles on the Gtech city bike using only max assist. Admittedly flat terrain and very few stop starts, he reports that 80-90% he is above the assist speed and the few times he falls below assist ie stops and mild gradients he can quickly power...

The Faro being lightweight can and has achieved 30 miles with over 1000 meters of elevation With a lot of hard work and mode 1 and 2 used primarily returns with never less than 2 bars left on display (terrified to completely deplete battery as believe this to be detrimental to the longevity) So...

Many on here ridiculed the 6.5 ah battery on my Gtech Escent but it was sufficient for my needs 20-25 miles nearly all in Eco mode Succumbed to fashion and now have the Faro with a huge 8ah which can easily achieve 25-30 miles in my allotted 1 and half hours.Any longer and I get the “where you...

    Tyre comparison.

Original marathon greenguard tyres Very good rolling resistance score (better than marathon racer tyres) Nearly as puncture proof as “pluses “ Lighter than marathon plus and better grip The best touring e bike tyres overall

    E Bike Recommendations

Hi my recommendation is the woosh Faro internal battery. Lightweight fast running road orientated and easily pushed past the 15.5 mph restrictions. I believe the parameters can be altered to run above the eu reg speed, though I don’t believe this needs the modifications.

    Chain jumping off front sprocket

Thanks woosh and sound wave, will try small increments of the chain tensioner (screw b) anti clockwise probably a quarter turn at a time. Don’t think it needs much, will stick to the road routes as it’s a road bike after all. Thanks again.
