    Help!..Ave MH7 v Kalkhoff Sahel Compact v blueLABEL PONY?

The Bluelabel Pony is driven by the Performance motor, so will offer almost unrivalled hill climbing on the 20" wheels, and is a high quality bike as you'd expect from Riese and Muller, also using the Alfine Hub...unfortunately we don't currently have a Pony in stock i'm afraid. They take about...

Best Ebike mileage.....on ONE battery charge

I use Sports Tracker...mainly because you can add pics that are marked on the map. It is anomalous with top speeds occasionally..i've clocked some 135 mph records, but generally seems ok. Just replotted the exact route on Strava and mapmyride to compare, and it looks as though Artstu is correct...

Best Ebike mileage.....on ONE battery charge

Lol...I'll not be doing that ride again on an ebike, let alone on a conventional!!! With regards to Altitude, I've no idea if it's correct or not, but the black country is pretty hilly in certain areas, and I can barely walk up stairs today, so it feels about right:)

Best Ebike mileage.....on ONE battery charge

Had a mixed ride out today....hot and sunny one minute, then freezing, grey and raining the next. Don't mind too much, as I just need to get out on the bike whenever I can. Today's jaunt had a purpose though..... to see how many miles I could get from my ebike on one full charge. I chose a...

    Cow

I (rather embarassingly) have a genuine fear of Cows, and have often had to alter my course to avoid them. Trouble is, I think that some Farmers tend to let the Cattle congregate around Public Footpaths on purpose to discourage access through their land.... over time I 've seen Footpaths almost...

    1 controller operate 2 wheels?

Nah, most spokes are made from Stainless Steel. http://www.sapim.be/spokes (and Sheldon says....) "Spokes The material of choice for spokes is stainless steel. Stainless is strong and will not rust. Cheap wheels are built with chrome-plated ("UCP") or zinc-plated ("galvanized") carbon-steel...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Haha...I just knew someone would pick up on that! I actually did have to fix the flymo before I cut it....I strongly dislike gardening, as you never get to the end of it.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Had a really enjoyable ride today 34.75 miles....mostly Tarmac country lanes, but plenty of off road too and some Canal Towpaths! First proper ride out since a strip down and rebuild (other than commutes), bike performed flawlessly.

    It has started already.

Hi Croxden, Please don't give up on your Haibike! Bring it in at your convenience and I'll sort it all out for you...we can revert back to Intuvia from Nyon if you prefer it as well.

    rake angle vs handling

I think It'll be down to your handlebar position....you've gone from steering over the centre of the wheel to now steering from behind the centre of the top of the steerer tube....if you put a short stem on to pull it in front of the steerer, I think you'll feel a difference....or at least...

    Upgrades to Shimano STEPS system

You're welcome to come and have a play anytime Mike, but I don't think you'll be needing a new bike for many years to come! When you bring in the Haibike for free servicing you can take a Shimano out for a spin....
