BBS01 programming - that doesn't fry the controller

Hill climbing is different between mid drive and hub - The right gearing is important, I changed from a 46 to a 42 chainring because my hills are long and often steep - I don't think my mid-drive is faster than the rear hub but it seems easier climbing (with a much heavier bike and 28" wheels...

    BBS02 on a cargo bike.

http://precialps.com/uk/20-accessories-bafang-bbs01-bbs02 I have the 104 BSD spider and mounted 42-32 steel chainrings. Yes 32 is a little extreme but it was what I had on hand so I just mounted it, haven't tested yet. Chainline isn't wonderful but working as with the 42 I spend most of my time...

I'm thinking of a home made metal bracket which uses the motor bracket. Or is there a 3D printer thing in my future???

    Ignore function for threads

And yet... The most in view e-bikes are made or at least designed in the EU so the Brexit thread is very close to pedelecs and their future in the UK...

    Number Two

So everything is cleaned up, main battery powered lights mounted and working (50% more lumens!) and I had planned on doing a few photos today to celebrate "the end" of this build. Of course it is bucketing down outside. I did ride it for the first time in pouring rain yesterday. The bike was...

Westword TV show on Now TV?

For years I used VDR (http://www.tvdr.de/) to watch the UK channels via satellite. There were software CAM's available to decrypt pay for view channels though I never got any to work reliably. Now the satellite has moved north meaning that I would need a 1.20 metre antenna, not very discrete...

    Guest Bike Conversion

I have been living like that for quite a while. Only very occasionally do I see a tiny spark when plugging in the XT30. There are "no spark" XT plugs available too. That said I am going to install a switch on the BFBattery box because my new lights are wired into the controller and a switch...

    All my miles gone.

Strange, the odo is stored in the LCD but should be written to an EPROM. Somehow you managed to wipe that by changing a battery??? I use two different batteries and it has no effect on the EPROM also on my old LCD when I plugged it in after a couple of months it still showed the correct number...

He seems to have a choice as do all the other EU citizens living in the UK, they have somewhere else to go if things don't work out as "planned". Being mobile has nothing to do with reliability.

Just as Paris isn't France, London isn't the UK... I lived in London for 9 months and enjoyed every minute except for the winter weather. Didn't London vote to stay in the EU?

You aren't a bad lot, or should that be weren't such a bad lot, but I feel that since you had Thatcher as PM things have gone seriously downhill. I remember going back to London for a few days in the 1980's and being shocked by what it had become. There is no such thing as society: there are...

You are a mystery man indeed. Personal insult when confronted with logic doesn't fit with "a career in aviation" or many of your other comments. A logical well thought out argument, now there would be a challenge, and from time to time you have slipped in a few. Accidents? Unfortunately I have...

You will have to do better than this drivel if you wish to at least appear intelligent: 1. because this demographic represents canon fodder, they don't want to take arms or be shot, they are chicken and have ran away from certain death 2. because they don't have a family holding them back they...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There is no blame in what I said, having an agreement to do your border control in Calais is fine in normal times, these are not normal times. Sending two UK immigration officers (TV news number) to look at the files of thousands of would be immigrants is, how can I put it nicely, ... And they...
