All I can find on the gov.UK website is.EAPC requirements are.The bike must have a plate showing the manufacturer. The nominal voltage of the battery and the motors power output.so I take this as i'am the manufacturer so I can make the plate.I suppose a plate is made from metal.and a sticker...

Does any one know the law on legal homebuilt bikes.do I just make my own plate.

The groove is 5 mm.the first chopping board I bought was.8mm,I used 4 layers. And finished the top with some 3 mm. The first layer is the hardest it needs a groove cutting in it.if you get it right no rubber bands needed.if you had a router no problem.but I cut mine with a hacksaw.i have made...

My first charge took one hour and 10 mins.there was a slight smell.mine get quite warm,on the top.i think this is normal,but don't quote me on that.I would like to slow the charger down.but i do not know how to do this.i'am sure it would be better for the batteries if they where charged slower.

Could be James.I was thinking £130,was a lot of money for a hedge trimmer battery .there's a lot of garden power tools in stock at both B&Q's i go to.i think they thought lets drop the price of the batteries and people might buy some tools.

I got mine on the 8 the of January. A few days later the price had gone up on the internet.I went in to B&Q yesterday loads more stock on the shelves, but the price is up to £130.
