    Trial expansion of 'Like' facility

I do miss the ability to like a post on forums that don't have the facility, if someone has taken the trouble to post about say, their car rebuild, if you can click like then they at least know someone is reading and appreciates their effort.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

Me too. I could even test it on the Gold Standard Winnats Pass hill challenge climb

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

Only if the bike has actually flown up Winnats :) I'm happy to test any bike up there. I would also like to add that I've seen loads of bike recommendations from yourself with no mention of Woosh at all.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

Having access to the Woosh log in details could be the answer then. Then when you recommend a Woosh bike everyone can see you're from Woosh, or at least posting with their interests at heart. I too know you have a connection to Woosh, but it isn't obvious to new members. It isn't an issue for...

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

I don't for one second doubt that you're not an official trade member Bob, but wonder why it has you as a Pedelecer and not Offical Trade Member? (Admin note - our error Artstu - and well spotted! Now amended) ETA Thank you Admin.

BHF banning ebikes are now being discussed on BBC Radio Kent

I see the BHF ignored the question completely, I wouldn't want to support them now given what I've learnt about them, and no doubt the CEO is on a six figure salary.

Some advance info on the latest 2016 Kudos models

Dave I do hope you're going to have a major overhaul of your website when these new bikes are available, it is very outdated now.

Just landed with my Cyclotricity Stealth 1000W

It's a safety cut-out, early bikes needed them as the motors continued to power for a couple of seconds after stopping pedalling, and a dab of the brake was required to kill the power. If yours cuts out instantly there is no need, although you have to wonder what would happen if there was a...

    Introducing the new Woosh Bermuda

If he's like me he may need paying to ride it, as Trex says it's highly unlikely to be his cup of tea, it certainly isn't mine. However a good bike at a good price for the targeted market.

    Looking for a bike!

I think Kudos Dave needs to spend some money on the website, I felt a bit embarrassed for recommending Kudos after visiting the website. Where are the new bikes we've seen on the forum? why are the sold out models still there? Certainly in desperate need of an update.

    Looking for a bike!

I agree, unless you live somewhere hilly like here and like to pedal on the downhill bits. It does look very smart, and my money would probably go there as opposed to a cheaper bike that may need a few upgrades to make it suitable for me. Can't you get rid of those uncomfortable fat saddles as...

    Looking for a bike!

Nice to see a bike with more than one chainring on the front, I have a feeling that frame style is going to become popular.

    Looking for a bike!

The trick with an ebike is to never run out of battery power, you can still pedal one, but they're all hard work up any hill without motor power. Where in Derbyshire are you? Juicy bikes would be a good place to try some bikes. https://www.juicybike.co.uk/ Oh and yes if you can up the budget.

    Looking for a bike!

A Whoosh or Kudos then I think. £700 is at the very low end of ebikes. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/ http://www.kudoscycles.com/

    Looking for a bike!

They don't need to be light to go up hills. More information is needed to give a recommendation, budget, your height, style of bike you prefer?

    pedelecs banned from UK event...

When someone dies and leaves money from their estate, the BHF are the most pushy charity out there, it's disgusting the way they chase up the donation with whoever is handling the will.

    Mopeds with large wheels.

SS50's were my thing, along with a C70 head and barrel
