It will work, the problem is going to be getting enough current. For a 500w motor you will need 20 to 30 amps (depending on controller). Batteries have a 'C' rating. This the the maximum current, relative to capacity. So 1C at 4.4Ah is 4.4A. You also need a way to manage the discharge, so...

I think you misunderstood my post. I'm saying that the SkyRC Imax chargers will only discharge a battery at 1A max. I'm presuming the OP needs to test batteries of a suitable capacity for an electric bike (c.10A/h)

You can only discharge at something like 1A, which is nowhere near enough to test a bike battery. You need closer 10A for a realistic test, more if you want to test how it will behave under load. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
