    Rear wheel

I would turn the bike upside down, remove the two wheel nuts and also the M5 allen bolts (in the middle of the pic) that secure the back torque arms. the wheel should come off easily.

Peter, your motor cable should have a quick release plug like this: pull the plug. After you repair the innertube, line up the two arrows, on both sides, and push the plug back in. If your bike does not have the inline plug, cut off a couple of cableties along the seat stay to release the...

News: ‘Twist and go’ type approval guidance emerges

I've tried that, I use the throttle while rotating the cranks instead of pedalling, it does not feel natural. It's a bit like what you see in the Jivr. By the way, if I remove the chain, can the bike continue to be considered as an EAPC?

    Woosh Karoo

there are two thumb throttles, one for the left and one for the right. I know woosh fit the right hand throttle for customers who ask for Ergon GP1 grips to be fitted to their Karoo.

News: ‘Twist and go’ type approval guidance emerges

if they don't define pedalling then can resting your feet on the pedals with a little movement now and then count as pedalling? is it legal to start with walk assist then change over to full throttle after your feet are off the ground?

News: ‘Twist and go’ type approval guidance emerges

the Lishui controllers are programmable for walk assist or full throttle mode. Andy@Woosh has a programmer that you plug the LCD into. I think you can do the same with the bluetooth dongle (so I hope, the manual says you can). It's not practical for the end user to change.

News: ‘Twist and go’ type approval guidance emerges

I would suggest that members be advised clearly if they are buying a bike with full throttle: unless you absolutely need the throttle, it is wise to leave it unplugged or switched off until the DfT can deliver the type approval for it.

    Introducing the new Woosh Bermuda

that depends very much on the controller. Most of the time, I won't go over 15A with the SWX, so about 40NM. I use 18A with the SWX02 and 20A with the BPM. ebikes.ca gives to the BPM max 65NM with 20A controller (5:1 reduction ratio). Using that base with the reduction ratio 4.4:1 for the SWX at...

with those variants now in place, in 10 year time, will Ezee customers still enjoy the availability of replacement batteries? Or hydrogen fuel cells will have taken over?

    Leaving the EU

if I was asked to name the reasons for my voting to leave, I will name just one: over development. There is no other way to slow this down.

the continued availability of Ezee batteries is certainly much appreciated by Ezee customers but it's not a game changer. One could argue that sticking to the old case is against progress. KD changed his battery in his newest bikes. That's progress to me.

to be fair, Jimmy @ Insat-International can probably fix an 11AH battery for less than £275 on most Chinese bikes.

Dave is correct. Your son is unlikely to need the throttle, just replace the grips. if he does, ask Andy@woosh for a thumb throttle.

    G-tech bike,has anyone seen a proper test

the EMU model is excellent for two reasons: the customer avoids buying the wrong bike plus he/she can ask questions and get replies from someone like John. IMHO, this is way better than going into a general bike shop where e-bikes are treated like poor relations or all the models they have are...

Best lightweight kit for road bike

yes, it's not either or, you can use both at the same time, in this case, the throttle takes precedence. If you let go of the throttle, the assist level reverts back to the level your bike is currently set at. The TSDZ2 motor has torque sensor, and start on torque, the Chinese call it MMT...

you don't need to fit the throttle. It's used for hill start or when you are too tired to pedal.
