FS and bad chainline = problems. Bad chainline is already a pain on a hard-tail! That is the bit you have to get right and a 100 mm BBSHD designed for a wide fatbike hub isn't going to help. Get another bike to convert and keep that one for when you need to ride unpowered.

My motor touches the chainstay, it isn't an issue, you only need 1 mm clearance there at the most. I liked the second photo, before I saw it I thought that I had chainline issues... :eek: You need to get the motor as close to the chainstay as you can and a bling ring or similar. It isn't too...

The bling ring makes a nice chainline on a 68 mm motor, you will be getting close to the bad chainline of not having a bling ring mounted.

I think we all know the answer to that question d8veh... The 100 mm version works on fat bikes because the hubs are larger, Almost 2 cm of additional offset will make for an unworkable chainline on anything else.
