    2008 Kalkhoff Pro Connect

I ts the motor that changed the Panasonic is economic and rarely has any failures. The modern ones are high performance run the batteries down quickly and have has some issues. Ergo if you want assistance and good range the older ones are better. The modern gears and suspension components are...

    2008 Kalkhoff Pro Connect

I found the 26 volt Panasonic drive ok on steep hills, but I didn't expect motorcycle performance and did work to help it climb slowly. Without the motor I wouldn't have even attempted the hill in bath I'm thinking off.

    Hello, Very heavy rider pondering.....

Ignore the 250 watt number. It's a manufacturing rated limit. To sell bikes they rate more powerful motors as 250 watt but have peak powers that can hit 750 watts. But that would drain the battery in 40 mins. The 15 mph limit is also interesting some bikes will do 18 mph?

    Are there any British manufacturers?

Whisper and woosh are British owned , they specify the frame and motor setup and have them made for them. That's as near as British built as you currently get.

Inverter for a motorhome to charge my bike

Your batteries in the camper are the limiting thing. If they are lead acid(almost guaranteed) then they should never be more than half emptied. That kills them quickly. They usually hold about 400 watt hours of usable power each. bike batteries have similar 400 watt hour capacity ( but you can...

For those who believe in Miracles a Self Charging Ebike

Ya canna fool the laws of physics, the energy you put in to the battery is as much as you could ever get out( with real bikes and losses you get less out than in) . So if you sweat hard you would go slowly then have some spare energy to help you sweat more going up the hill. Not worth it just...
