Front hub 48v motor for very hilly area

Yes I think so. Lucky you don't want one of these: https://www.bafang-e.com/oem-area/components/component/motor/rm-g310250dc/ I do... Bafang are the most expensive hubs, is that justified? In your case I would go for a 250W 36v SXW02 and run it at 48v, it can handle much more. Maybe you could...

Front hub 48v motor for very hilly area

Last night did a road test with the Mxus XF08 in it's new home, 936 Watts peak @ 24 Amps x 38v... Top speed? 31 kmh. Top speed climbing? Too scared to look down, too busy holding onto the bars...

    BBS01 to KT controller mod.

The controller is integrated too isn't it? The death of the GSM (as a product, not mine) means my carbon fibre Bafang G360.250 motor adaptor is back on the projects list... Internal controller yes but 48v capable and 250W engraved on the casing...

Front hub 48v motor for very hilly area

Try here, specs are down the page. https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/32835021876.html The SWX02 can handle very large voltages and is a hot rod favorite. A 36v one run at 48v will not be an issue.

Front hub 48v motor for very hilly area

I agree with Nealh. Show us a picture of your bottom bracket left hand side so that we can see if there is enough space for a PAS disk like this one which requires no disassembly of the crank etc.

    Speed removal 250w rear hub

Don't confuse motor speed and power. My Mxus XF08 will climb 13% hills at 24 kph, that is power (I help it a little by being in the correct gear and giving a bit of welly). On the flat with no wind it peaks at 27 kph give or take a whisker, that is it's top speed. I can pedal over and beyond...

    Speed removal 250w rear hub

Each motor type has a specific number of RPM it can run at, many common hub motors spin at about 260-270 RPM @ 36v. Unloaded (wheel off the ground) speed for that type of motor is about 32-33 kph so that you end up with a top loaded speed of around 25 kph. Your 27 kph motor is a little bit...

    Speed removal 250w rear hub

Hub motors a built for a certain speed. To make it go faster you need to increase the voltage from 36 to 48v.

Wippermann Connex ES Ebike chains any good?

I use a Wipperman chain, I have better experience with it than KMC. But I don't use e-bike specific chains, just the entry level 7-8 speed chain which so far has worked just fine. At >3600 km and two or three shots of chain lube during that time it doesn't like extreme chain angles any more and...

Red flag! The elections are going to be held between the 23rd and 26th of May. Nice that you have the result already though! Ah provincial elections! The center right won. The euro sceptics won 15% of the seats, what a victory!

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The house and garden approach to housing has been doomed for many years. Look at the housing in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland - energy positive, well thought out collective housing with private spaces and spaces to grow vegetables (together as a community), that is the way...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I tend to agree but owning land and a house on it has not been on the cards for me for quite some time, so I can relate to the way young people are reacting to home ownership. The whole gilet jaune thing has its roots in this problem: - in order to own land and a home on it French people have...
