Advice on Charging Battery When Not In Use

@OldPedaller Maybe you could let the forum know the brand and model number of the battery, so we can search for a more definitive answer for you.

Advice on Charging Battery When Not In Use

I personally wouldn't worry about it too much. Just fully charge before you leave, then charge it again when you get back. Obviously, it's dependent on the quality of the cells how much charge you will lose, but it should be minimal after only 4 months. If it has any sort of switch on the...

Bafang BBS01B and 15Ah battery for sale

You mention in your first post that you prefer riding your standard bike. You can easily tweak certain parameters, using a programming cable, to better suit the way you like riding the bike?

Who manufactures this mid drive kit?

Aha, so there is a throttle version. I just got the impression that all versions had no throttle. Good to know :)

Who manufactures this mid drive kit?

Interesting points! I'm just wondering if the omission of these two features is due to it being torque sensing. Owners probably just want the bike to ride just like an unpowered one, but with a little added assistance to their leg input. A throttle usually ends up with the rider using the bike...

    Ebike cassettes and chains

IIRC, I get about 1000 miles out of a chain before it gives me problems. I have pretty much maxed out the programming on my BBS02, so the chain gets lots of high torque abuse. Forum peeps will have different opinions on what lube to use and when, but I apply Finish Line Dry Teflon lube every...

    Ebike cassettes and chains

I've just been using KMC chains and low end Shimano cassettes on a BBS02 750w. Cheap as chips to replace. Not sure paying extra on these components is cost effective, as the BBS02 eats through them no matter what. I usually replace 2 chains to one cassette. It's the 11T cog that usually starts...

    BBS02 PressFit 30 PF30

Adam648, you did you right thing and went with a branded quality cell. Unfortunately, the Samsung 29E, as wheeliepete quite rightly mentions, is not really suited for higher discharge rates. My previous pack was 29E and it lasted about 2 years before becoming unusable. That was with the BBS02...

Any electric shower experts out there?

Hee hee, I know that my post sounds like I'm being a bit of a Steptoe, but I'm really only trying to apply the logical solution. Yes, I could replace the whole unit, but admittedly it's a bit of a faff on, as Danidl quite rightly mentions, the push fit seals can be problem when installing. Yes...

Any electric shower experts out there?

I've had a fair bit of experience with the Bristan shower units. Generally reliable, but had to replace a heating cannister, pressure regulator and outlet pipe myself on previous models. Always cheap to repair and the internal design hasn't changed too much over the years.

Any electric shower experts out there?

The front display panel comes away from the main body with zero disturbance to any seals. I can buy a new display panel for 35 quid, but I'm just after info on whether the display is driven from the main PCB or independently within the panel. I'm happy to buy a whole new shower unit, but it...

Any electric shower experts out there?

I've got a Bristan electric shower with a digital LED temperature readout on the front panel. Unfortunately, some of the display segments have failed, which means it's difficult to read the correct temperature properly. I need to know if the LED display has its own circuitry to drive the...
