I use a baseball cap under my helmet with 5 inch peak, or bill as they call them in America. Keeps sun out of my eyes and rain off my glasses.

You’re right, Malta is getting concreted over which is a shame. I was so surprised what Gozo had to offer. Amazing SAFE quiet roads through farms and villages with astounding views of Countryside one minute and sea views the next. Very calming. Gozo offers great walking routes and Segway routes...

I would recommend Freego ebikes. Well built, TWO years warranty, an owners website with 1250 active members and factory response and customer satisfaction which cannot be beaten. From your quoted mileage I would recommend opting for the largest battery on offer, far cheaper to start that way...
