Thanks guys Kit arrived this morning, motor looks well made and solid. Had to order a low profile cable guide for the bottom bracket and some shallow head screws for the battery carrier. Bought a Bafang type spanner from eBay but really poor quality, can anyone recomend a good one. Any...

    Help! TSDZ2 48v 250w or BBS01B 36v 250w

Thanks appreciate the info, the lekkie components do look really good quality. Nice to be able to grease the gears without removing the cover, will definitely go down the lekkie route once the kit is installed. Thanks Steve

    Help! TSDZ2 48v 250w or BBS01B 36v 250w

Thanks for the advice, I will look into them one once I have fitted the kit. Should arrive early next week. I will have more idea of ideal chain ring size when tested, ordered with A 44t just a stab in the dark on my part. I have seen the bling rings advertised anywhere from £50 to well over...

    Help! TSDZ2 48v 250w or BBS01B 36v 250w

Decided to go the Bafang route, ordered a BBS01b. Some say the stock chain ring is appalling, is it really that bad or will it do for now. The Lekkie Bling rings seem to be very expensive, has anyone found a cheaper alternative. Thanks Steve

Thanks for the info, it seems the Bafang might be the more robust option.

    Help! TSDZ2 48v 250w or BBS01B 36v 250w

My last bike was a torque sensor and I found it very comfortable with only 40Nm of torque. Have you noticed any difference in reliability, motor noise and battery range between the two? Do you have a personal preference. Thanks Steve

    Help! TSDZ2 48v 250w or BBS01B 36v 250w

Hi All After digesting lots of valuable info from this from this forum I am now leaning toward a mid drive option. I think it will provide more torque for hill climing with a heavy rider, also it will allow me to keep existing QR wheels. The two obivious options seem to be TSDZ2 or BBS01b. I...

    Woosh SWX02 48v 250w Bafang kit

Hi All I was intending to fit Woosh SWX02 48V Kit with Bafang 60 Nm motor, but they are not available until early November. Can anyone suggest a viable alternative. I would like the controller to be integral with the battery housing to keep things tidy if poss. The bike is a Specialized...

Sorry for late reply I had a look at a Whisper that was in a bike shop being serviced yesterday, It did look a quality bike. Decided to fit a Woosh rear wheel kit to my trusty Specialized Crossroads for now. Could always do with a spare/shopping bike. Now I can take my time choosing new bike.

Looks like a great bike, gets good reviews. Don't know how practical it would be for me. 80% of my riding is on tarmac. Will try for size when i see one on the shop floor

Looking for a replacement bike not as easy as I thought. Tried the Gran Camino at Woosh today, unfortunately to small in the frame. Also having been spoilt with a good torque sensor any thing else seems unmeasured and disproportionate , but that's just personal preference. Any recommendations...

Returned bike to Decathlon, received a full refund for the bike and accessories almost no questions asked after a quick check over by a tech guy. Unbelievably good service, hats of to this side of the business. Guy in the worship thinks a new model Riverside with crank drive motor will be out...

Yes I understand, controller is responding perfectly to the TS, it's just the bearings that are knackered. Incedently cleaned the bike prior to return and noticed that the bottom bracket shell has a large aperture underneath, can see BB. Looks like a regular square taper cartridge BB with cable...

Not sure, it wasn't mentioned in my telephone conversation with Decathlon yesterday. Will let you know as I will be returning bike this evening. If there is a heavy penalty might be worth getting it fixed under warranty and selling it. The bike is as new immaculate and unmarked with rack and...

Thanks for the reply Decathlon assure me it's covered as I expected, Seemed evasive when I asked if this was a common problem. I was also informed that I could return the bike within the 365 day policy if i have lost confidence in the product. Can't be fairer than that. May revisit the Woosh...

How long have you had yours Thanks for the reply. Spoke to decathlon, assured me it would be covered by warranty. Seemed evasive when I asked if this was a common problem. Just don't want a reoccurring problem every few hundred miles. Was advised that I could return the bike as I am inside the...
