    DWG22 Motor noise

Hi Jodel Thanks for the reply, I guess I have just been unlucky. I have other hub drive bikes and they sound as you describe, normal and acceptable. With this kit i have pedestrians looking to see where the milk float whine is coming from, makes for a tiring experience. Will probably end up...

    DWG22 Motor noise

Hi Recently insalled a DWG22 kit from Woosh. The motor was exceptionally noisy and harsh under load on any setting higher than level 1. Andy at woosh kindly sent out a replacement motor wheel after listening to recording of noise. Replacement motor was a little smoother and less noisy when...

Where would you recommend buying e-conversion kits from?

Purchased a couple of kits from PswPower pre brexit, great price and fast delivery. Although PswPower still include England in the list of VAT and duty paid countries on their website, I think we are still liable for customs and VAT. I tried to clarify this with Alice at PswPower, she said they...

Help! Advice on choosing rear hub motor/kit

Hi Tony My BBS01 was underwhelming on stock programming. A few adjustments made a huge improvement to performance.

Thanks, very informative. Seems like I would be better to source individual components to tailor the end result.

Help! Advice on choosing rear hub motor/kit

Thanks, a good endorsement. I have been to Woosh a couple of times to look at various models, unfortunately all to small despite Tony's best efforts to adjust. Ended up down the self build route

Help! Advice on choosing rear hub motor/kit

Thanks Nealh Current set up is 17.5ah 36vBBS01B gives me 40 mile range average with fairly high assistance levels, would like to at least match this. Would like to stay at 250w if possible, sorry my reference to 1000w was a clumsy attempt at humour. 350w seems popular amongst forum members, is...

Help! Advice on choosing rear hub motor/kit

Hi All Looking at DWG22C 48v 250w 60nm from Woosh, they only supply with 12ah battery, prefer 15ah. Any alternative recommendations would be very welcome. Currently enjoying my BBS01 but time for another build. I know a hub motor won't climb like a mid motor but looking for a more relaxed ride...

    Lekkie Buzz barr or alternative

Are they the E6000, how is the offset compared to original? Thanks Steve

    Alternative to Lekkie crank arms

Yes I agree, problem is finding the correct offset for the L/H crank. I know £100 for a pair of Lekkie crank arms sounds ridiculous but should fix the pedal alignement.

Wheels. Rims and spokes to be precise.

Thanks for the advice guy's. Ready built double wall wheels with a QR freewheel hub seem to be thin on the ground at present. Would like to stick with freewheel as the current 14 -34 megarange 7 speed works well with the stock 44t Bafang chainring, otherwise would have considered a cassette...

Wheels. Rims and spokes to be precise.

Hi Nealh Do you have a preferred vendor for rims, spokes & standard hubs. Prices seem to be all over the place on line. Looking for standard 700 X 19 rim & QR freewheel hub, nothing fancy. Thanks Steve
