    Locks, security, registering, battery etc!

Like cyclebuddy, I take my folding bike in with me. Often there's a tray under the bigger shopping trolleys, I think it's intended for prams.

You should name and shame these cyclist hating supermarkets!

What madness is this? That's 27.06cm in diameter! Maybe anglegrinders have been grinding through thinner posts or something, might it be faster than grinding through a lock? Looks like we're gonna need a bigger D-lock! But do they exist? Maybe chain three or four long D-locks together...

Are you saying that most supermarket posts are too thick to fit into this, which you might have mentioned? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Onguard-Pitbull-8005-Bike-Cable/dp/B00XAM0NYI

    Highway code changes

Would cops instinctively be drawn to a flashing blue light on a bike? I know flashing red lights are illegal at the front of a bike, but there's no mention of blue in The Highway Code, I think.

Is a very bright flashing blue light on the front of the bike illegal, for a non-cop?

Why car drivers DO NOT see cyclists

I'm pleased to report that my new 20W "1800LM" headlight, appears to make me more visible on the road at night - at about 48 seconds into this video, the car to my right waited there for a very long time, actually allowed me to pass... he must have mistaken me for a motorbike.

    Unavoidable Bicycle Badger Collision

A brighter light wouldn't have stopped the badger - they get startled and run when they see bright lights of vehicles... most wild creatures do. A lot of badgers get killed by cars, which have very bright headlights. I wanted a brighter headlight, to make myself more visible on the road...

    UK law

48 volts x 20.8 amps = 998.4 watts : that's enough power to deliver quite substantial loads probably? Even in the hilly UK.

These vehicles would destroy a badger, depending on how heavily the vehicles were laden, and whether it was harpooned by the pointy end.

A pedelec is legal if it has a motor rated at 250W, but do they remain legal if high voltage? Therefore 72V 4 wheeled 250w motored pedelcs, or those of even higher voltage, could be viable and legal cargo vehicles?

The passenger(s) of a 4-wheeled pedelec would be safer in a badger collision, but not if it was hungry, because of the low riding position.

He fell over for no reason that I could see, but didn't look dead, wasn't leaking blood. He shouted "It's a show mate!", while he was getting up, which was odd:

    Suspension posts

Does anyone know how often the elastomers on Thudbusters need replacing? Are replacements easy to source? Are replacements likely to be available for years? I'm thinking of buying one.

Woosh Help with a woosh conversion kit

It' s been 10 weeks and my wrist is still swollen. There is less pain, unless exercising to gain a greater range of movement, which I must do. My left wrist is in between two bags of frozen peas at the moment. It's the stopping that hurts lol ;)

25mph is dangerous on a bicycle IMHO, I broke my wrist badly colliding with a badger, at less than half that speed: https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/unavoidable-bicycle-badger-collision.42374/

Rear lights: which is best, continuous or flashing?

It was a very warm night, and I'd forgotten! Now I keep my gloves velcroed to the bike handlebar.
