    Battery unbalanced

A well built pack with quality cells should not go out of balance in such a short time. Were the cells all new? What system have you used in it's construction?

    sakura electric bike need info

It is very unlikely that the SLA batteries will still be serviceable if they have been left discharged for any period of time, so bear in mind these will need replacing at a cost of £80-£100.

    Battery fusing

It might be worth you considering refitting your old 250w hub motor, assuming it's a geared brushless one and it has the same connections as your present motor. It will run fine at 18/20 amps and will perform much better on hills than the DD you have. It should also increase your range by a fair...

    newbie . am I making a mistake?

The numerous problems with the older Crossfire and Vulcan bikes may well have been sorted out, but Halfords will continue to fire them out the door regardless. If you are on a tight budget, have you considered fitting a kit? If you already have a bike, then you have already saved money. Have a...

    Kt controller problem.

You have the throttle plugged into the wrong connector on the controller. Red/Black/ Blue is throttle, you have it connected to the speed sensor. I can't see the wire colours on your throttle, you may have to swap them around to suit the controller.

It would appear not, the guy in the video is renting out the same bikes as in the 1st post. If his bikes have been taken away for inspection and returned to him to continue his hire business, would it be fair to assume they are all "approved"?

I need some advice about replacing an Impulse 2 mid-motor

No wish to sound unkind, but to throw £800 at a new motor with no warranty that could fail within a couple of 100 miles, is not the way to go. How old is the bike? There's a good chance you will also be needing a new battery as well in the near future. For that money you could buy a s/h bike and...

Customisation of the Yosepower kit or other ebike kits

I would say it's software/firmware controlled, but LVC can be anywhere between 31-33v. What's written on the controller?

Thanks Flecc, so powered PAS is not needed to pass?

    The Law

I'm wondering if these moped style bikes have PAS as the pedals look impossible to use? If not, would this affect the test for full power throttle use?

Customisation of the Yosepower kit or other ebike kits

It could be it's pulling more amps than you think or the LVC is higher than stated.
