    Long commute question

thegus look at the WOOSH range of Ebikes . They are at Southend and would give test rides and advice . If you are to live in a Flat how about a Folder ? If you have to climb stairs or use a narrow corridor something that is compact/manageable and folds would cover all bases . Their new Rambletta...

    20×4.0 Fat tyre mudguards

Urban Drivestyle of Berlin have 20x4 in. Steel Fenders for a UNI MAXI Fat Tyre Ebike for 59 Euros reduced in a sale from 89 Euros . My FAT TYRE SR 20a from EBIKES Lanarkshire has minimal plastic mudguards , they might be worth a call . Anything for Fat Tyres seems to attract a premium . The...

nabs I currently ride 3 Ebikes with differing power methods , not all at the same time I might add . I have a Batribike Quartz 20 in. wheel Folder bought nearly 10 years ago . This front hub with 200 watts is my choice for 5 mile Shopping trips, as although it is underpowered it is the most...

Looking to buy, at Ezebike £1.3k and Argos Chinese £550 any suggestions

Jim if you yearn so badly for a Batribike Quartz look a like , one exists . Tubeless recommendations

OKO Tyre Sealant worked for me for several months until I got too curious where the green slime was weeping from . Stupidly I tried to remove the errant thorn and there wasn`t one . Result , the tyre went flat . Moral of the story is don`t start probing until you are home .

    First bicycle road accident tonight.

Glad you are ok Nealth and avoided the curse usually visited on falling Cyclists and Motorcyclists , namely a broken collarbone . I was knocked off a Honda 90 in 1974 by a car that overtook me on the entrance to a roundabout and turned left . Police and Ambulance were involved and in the Court...

Fat Bike tyre is flat .

Well it had to happen after 550 miles on my CNE SR 20a Fat Tyre E Folder , I picked up several punctures in the front 20x4in. Kenda `Krusade `after the local Farmer had been busy cutting his hedges with the clippings strewn over the lane . I mistakenly thought that the 4 mm deep `pips`of...

    chain length

I had the same problem with my Batribike 20 in. Folder . The longest chain to suit 6,7 and 8 speed set ups was 118 links which was 4 shorter than the original . This resulted in the chain coming off the sprockets a few times . I ordered another 118 Link chain and some spare links and made up a...

    Introducing the new Woosh Rambla

The overall design and data quoted looks very good and if it`s better than the Family Santana which is nearly 7 years old, then it will be very good indeed . This Santana is on it`s original battery and will still keep up with my year old rear drive Fat Tyre and mid drive Dapu Pro Rider . The...

    Bosch motor/display cutting out.

Thanks for posting the picture , a very generous gap . At least with the magnet on the wheel the speeds and distances are reasonably accurately recorded . My Fat Tyre Folder has the sensor on the crank , no pedalling , no speed or distances show on the LCD . I have used GPS and known distances...

    Bosch motor/display cutting out.

I have no knowledge of the Bosch set- up but had a problem with my Pro Rider Flare Dapu Mid Motor magnet and sensor . If the magnet on the front wheel has too great a gap from the pick-up, the display goes blank and the Motor doesn`t power . A ticking noise alerted me to a tight gap , so I put...

Looking to buy an electric bike

Markmi you ought to add another to your list , the NCM Paris . It is slightly heavier than some but has an excellent spec . i.e . front suspension , suspension seatpost etc. My 9 year old Batribike Quartz Folder is nearly identical and has electrics designed by NCM , then called Leisger and it...
