    Grease is the word....

I must admit that I have never given it second thought. The hanger is of good quality, and the mounting design seems very good. At 100mm long, the spanner doesn't take up any room, and is actually easier to store than the spare hanger. :) This what I tend to carry.

    Grease is the word....

You would need to check with FLI as to which one that you require. http://www.flidistribution.co.uk/ktm-bikes/parts-accessories/spare-hangers And you will need one of these. http://www.flidistribution.co.uk/ktm-bikes/parts-accessories/tools/minitool-for-ktm-dropout-3-pins

I would also a rear mech hanger and spanner for it.

    Full power Cube bikes

Not necessarily. For example my KTM has two bolts threaded directly into the motor, and three bolts threaded into the frame, with no nuts anywhere. The Cube could be just the same.

SRAM EX1.....Anybody else got this drivetrain??

It's a tricky one to answer in respect of whether to stick with the OE set up or not. Originally I had intended to remove the whole lot from my bike when it was new, and to then sell it and swap over to the XT/Sunrace set up. I haven't looked, but I have an idea that EX1 is now history and...

    independent e bike technician

Steve where are you based? If it is in Sussex, you are more than welcome to try my bike. I didn't really want to derail the thread any further than I already have, but I'll openly admit that there times where for my own use, a full suspension bike would certainly be more comfortable, and...

I can't say that I have ever found riding rough terrain to be in an issue, in fact my hardtail copes very well with it, and certainly don't miss the extra maintenance costs. Each to their own though. :)

SRAM EX1.....Anybody else got this drivetrain??

I run an EX1 set up, but only because it came with the bike. I'm not actually a fan of SRAM products, and certainly not their cassettes or rear derailleurs. I have more hassle with SRAM cassettes than say Shimano or Sunrace, as the design catches more crud and debris than the two mentioned, and...

Flecc, I really love and rate the Panasonic system. :) Stevieb. I personally don't think that you have anything to worry about in respect of ebikes and potential out of warranty issues. I also don't necessarily agree with you comment about hardtails not making suitable eMTB's . My one and...

We Wish You a Merry Christmas.....

It was certainly a lovely day for a ride, with an amazing haw frost. :) It also amazed me just how many miserable people there are that seem to head out for their once a year walk on Ashdown Forest. Not a single cheery hello from any of them, just hard stares, grunts, or shouts of "Oi you" from...

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

I decided that with my usual Xmas day morning in mind, that I wanted to stay mud free for once, and fitted the rear Scud Launcher, and front E guard. That's the end of what little street cred that I had gone! :D Also with some reluctance, I fitted a new pair of boots to the bike at the same time.

    Getting rid of drones

I hate the use of the word drone instead of quadcopter. ☹

Case studies - how has your electric bike changed your life?

That's brilliant. So glad that you have made it across to here. It oddly seems a natural progression from motorcycles to ebikes. I look forward to catching up. Mussels from VD and TRC is on here somewhere as well.

Would you happen to be the Adamski from the old Visordown forum?

2018 Giant - E+1 SX Pro (Courtesy of Rutland Cycling)

Part 3 Crunch time, would I own this bike? The build quality of the bike was superb, the component spec was equally as good, especially as I am a fan of Shimano components, and the handling was spot on. Even with the chain suck issue that is detailed in the ride link above, I loved the...

Which e-bike for the wife? (Bosch motor Qs)

After reading your reply, I went back to do the range test again, and yep by mistake I had missed out a couple of elements of it. :( It was actually pretty much spot for my normal riding routes here in the UK, but out for my trips to the Swiss Alps, where the range can drop to just 9 miles, but...

Which e-bike for the wife? (Bosch motor Qs)

It was out by about 38 miles for me. I'd love to be getting the quoted range of 66 miles.

    Site Update - Today 12pm

Thanks Helen, I think that the layout is spot on as you have it, but by products, I was meaning items such as tools, lights, tyres, cleaning products, clothing etc. :)
