    Second Hand Electric Bikes

That was most auction houses before eBay, to be fair. I think it's absolutely reasonable for someone to try and make a profit reselling on eBay. There's a lot of risk buying stuff at auction.

To be fair, that is all of them. I agree - Whoosh for me. Great service.

TSDZ02B 48V 15Amp with throttle - Road legal 250W kit now available on its own from Woosh

Would this work with the 48v battery as supplied by you and fitted to my other kit? I quite fancy having a play with one of these....

    Second Hand Electric Bikes

I had one to sell and couldn't give it away, basically. They are the sort of thing that I reckon most people expect will be end of life if they ever come up. The Carrera sounds like it could be stolen, frankly. But why would you pay anywhere near the price of a new bike and not get a warranty?

Seeking Advice on Affordable Ebike for 20-Mile Daily Commute (£500-£600 = Budget)

Hang on, you told me you're ignoring me in the other thread, and you're replying to others. Did you ignore me, then read my other post so you could reply and say you're ignoring me? That is one spectacular flounce. Respect.

Again, thank you for your interest. Unfortunately I can't ignore you - I often look without logging in. So does everyone else. Like the OP, who has long gone because another thread has been ruined with inane crap.

@guerney : your inane comments about dealing with ebike fires may have entertained you, but you need to understand that they are (a) not very funny, (b) make it harder to find useful information and (c) are in pretty poor taste when the owner of the bike in the original post was to quote the...

Help! 1st E-Bike, need help choosing

No. I am also neurodivergent and live with someone with autism. I welcome someone pointing out a social cue when I am being rude. I may disagree and continue, but being neurodivergent does not give me permission to behave badly.

As another neurodiviergent, I am telling you you're being rude. Being autistic does not mean you can be rude.

    Rido R2 help...

I have a mk1 rido on one of my non ebikes. Very comfy for me, but for some reason position was more important. I am further forward on it than I am on most saddles.

I see why you are saying that now. What you are saying is correct when you are talking about hub motors with direct drive. Good hub motors for bike conversions are geared internally. I have a cargo bike with a rear hub. 160KG for me, bike and usual luggage. I can get up any hill where I live...

I don't understand your point. My hub motor has a normal splined cassette. It has exactly the same number of gears as it did when it was a pedal bike. It has a triple chainring, so probably MORE gears than most hub geared bikes. I chose it because looking here it seems they break down less often.

This thread is embarrasing. There is a lot of really useful information on this forum but it's getting increasingly hard to find because some of you are trying to turn it into a comedy blog. Well done lads.

Moving a rack battery to a different part of a frame

I thought as much. It would have been nice if someone made bags for them though. No harm in asking!
