Prices of the electricity we use to charge

CATL made those batteries only for OEMs at the moment. Just google CATL solid state batteries. I got that news from Sam Evans YT channel. Basically, CATL have about 1000 staff working on these batteries for some time. They expect putting them in EVs in about 3-5 years. Until then, we have NCM...

I wouldn't jump to any conclusion, but that does not have any bearing on what Carl Sagan said. We still don't know if the robber has got an accomplice, does the authority know how much money is missing and if that tallies with the money recovered from the robber.

Made with the new solid state Sulphite batteries? 500WH/kg, that will be 10,000 tonnes. It will take time to achieve net zero, give it about one generation for us to get there. Looking back, how long ago did you start building your retirement plan? Take nuclear as an example, if you can have a...

that comment about GBNews was aimed at MikelBikel because he quoted them a few times. I can of course see the weakness of solar generation when the sun doesn't shine. That's not new. Repeating it does not make investment into solar any less promising. Look at places like California and...

if they represent their countries, it is less important which way they fly to Baku than if they don't come. How would you like our representatives to go to Baku?

we now have better ways of harvesting the energy from the sun than pumping oil so why so many people still hang on to oil? Do the MSN like GBNews have too much influence?

I prefer cap and trade. Trading incentives are not enough. Look at what the water companies will do if our government doesn't punish them. Too many businesses would rather spend the money on carbon credits than deal with reducing pollution. They still continue to buy carbon credits from Tesla.

@mikeIbikel, years ago, I walked on beaches full of pebble sized lumps of oil residues from the Torrey Canyon then a few years later, the same thing happened when the Amoco Cadiz sank. Oil was a necessary evil. As soon as we can, we should phase it out.

It's not his business, the company is owned by his office, which is the government. Trust me, he won't get a salary nor dividend etc. It's just the way quangos work. Even the BoE is a company. Look at how HS2 is organised, you'll learn something.

Believe it or not, I understand quite well the issues hindering the development of hydrogen as a vector for zero carbon source of energy. There are lots of reasons why governments have to explore the hydrogen option. Check steel making with hydrogen. There was a time when the only safe batteries...

So the "independent (green) advice" to Ed came from a private company owned by Ed!? All perfectly in order, y? Gas, burn baby burn, but subsidise Gas, And Windmills, And Sunflaps! That's how government buys and sells shares. National Grid is an example. Nothing underhand about that.

As I said, most of the damage were outside the city of Valencia and South of the new riverbed. Paiporta for example, where most of the BBC reportage was made, was South of the new Turia and 50m higher. If the Turia was finished with 35% extra capacity than the highest flow in the last 1957...

De Gaule did see then that the UK was in it only for trade, not political union. Brexiters should really blame Thatcher for wanting a) to abolish ALL cross country barriers to trade and b) enlarge the EU, admitting into the club far weaker members like you know which. The rest is just the...

was it the one about Cameron or about Orban? Let's talk about Cameron case first. The root problem was not just Margaret Thatcher but John Major and Tony Blair too, wanting to enlarge the EU. At that time, all members had the veto power to protect its national interest. The reason that Major...

I doubt that if the diversion of the Turia was better managed, the flood could have been avoided. Most of the damage was outside the city of Valencia, mainly south of the new river.
