As I cycle through central london I often have to stop abruptly and a few times I have found myself in the wrong gear and struggled to get the bike moving without some heavy gear crunching

What options are there to replace the derailleur with a gear hub to go with a bafang bbs01 250w mid drive kit? Are they easy to install and are there any options to allow gear changes whilst stationary. At the moment i am always in the wrong gear at traffic lights.

When you pedal the noise comes back slowly but as soon as you hit the throttle it rattles quite load

Is there somewhere then nearby to me where I can take it to be serviced.

Motor has done 3000 miles. I am based near Croydon, London.

My bafang bbs01 motor has developed a loud rattling noise which occurs even more when the throttle is used. I don't feel too confident about opening up the motor and was thinking of replacing just the motor unit. Are you able to buy just the motor as all I can see for sale at conversion kits.
