    Faster charging with parallel chargers.

this charger is underpowered for this battery, 2 are aswell, original charger was 3.6A 145W for 1/4 of this pack, as its made from macallister garden tool batteries. , edit just looked up cell specs, standard charge is .5A and rapid charge is 4A, which is higher than i thought, as original...

    Faster charging with parallel chargers.

Ended up with 2 chargers due to shipping times for one of em being too long and buying another elsewhere, after googling about it and not finding much or generally not advised i decided to ignore that and see what happens for myself, and surprisingly works just fine, one and 2 connected...

upgrading from 1000w to 1500w controller

could do, just the carrier currently has the battery on it, and the controller and wiring fits kinda neatly in a triangle of the frame, was thinking of hanging underneath where front frame mudguard used to sit, http://i.imgur.com/c4QENN5.jpg will prob just pick up the 1200w, an extra 10 amps...

upgrading from 1000w to 1500w controller

current controller is 26A, have a choice between a 1200w 35A or 1500w 45A, looking at amps the 1500w is near double what i have and im guessing would top out near 2kw? maybe i should just get the 1200w one.

upgrading from 1000w to 1500w controller

samsund 13q cells in 13s8p config, built from macallister garden tool batteries, i think they are 17 amps continuous a cell, 1300mah capacity not great but they were cheap, about 25 quid for 20 cells. battery wired direct rather than going through bms output but its only a 20amp one from the 48v...

    Small Battery Bargain.....?

i liked how easily they stacked and wired together, only prob i had was the macallister charger cuts off after an hour or so, and easy enough to dremel apart and make smaller sections as the cells are spaced also found a schottky diode in one of the spare chargers that works well for the regen...

    Small Battery Bargain.....?

i wondered where all the 4ah batteries went, didn't get a chance to grab any but did get 6 of the 2.6ah ones, was using 4 initially joined together then upgraded to 48v, so cut the other 2 into 6 cell sections and added onto end and wired in a 48v bms, 13s8p, working well so far. a 10.4ah...
