Having trouble with my santana petite. It flashes 30 and motor cuts out. Any ideas? Woosh is shut today so thought it worth a try on here?
woosh's phone is not answered at weekends but technical support (via emails) always answers urgent queries.
Error 30 means the 5V supply line is compromised. Usually by water ingress into one of the sensors or the LCD or connectors on the trunk cable.
which component is the culprit is usually identified by swap out.
In the mean time, the easiest one you can check is the throttle.
Unplug it at the connector, about 10" from the throttle.
Switch on the LCD. If the error goes away then problem solved.
If the problem persists, support will sort it out for you.
May I suggest a lot more infos like the actual battery voltage (multi meter), the voltage coming out of the charger, the LED indicator colour while charging, age of battery/bike and anything else you have noticed, particularly if an LCD display is fitted to the bike.Having trouble with my santana petite.
