hi all went into local Halfords to see which of there 26" wheel mtbs had hydraulics disc brakes (possible bike to add a kit)

but it seems most mtbs are now of the 27.5 size wheel variety)

having looked at some whoosh gsm threads, I can see nothing where it mentions double /triple front chainrings or is single the only option.

can this kit be used with 26" 27.5" 29" and 700c wheeled bikes I ask as some kits do not seem to cater for 27.5 size.

not sure how I check bottom bracket is correct size for this particular kit .

thank you all

yes, you can have double chainrings with the GSM.
You need to fit a BCD adapter to it (right pic), same for the BBS01.

The chain-line would be dreadful on the outer sprockets though.

It's good for two rings, no worse than on a normal bike.

Hard to tell from that photo, but I very much doubt it for some of my bikes. Probably best on a bike with a wide rear axle, I forget what width MTB's are up to now.
