Hello, my partner uses her Woosh Gallego to commute every day but a few weeks back it started to intermittently cut out. The issue is so bad that she doesn't know whether it will go from one second to the next and has had to use her regular bike to commute as without the assist it is just too much effort. We had a similar problem before where we fond the issue to be the connector working loose around the wheel and that resolved itself. However this issue appears more serious and I think I have isolated it to the control panel.
If you look in the pics, the first shows the control panel in its entirety minus a little round cylinder piece about 5mm all-round. In the second picture i have placed this cylinder piece where i think it should go and where i think the problem might be. Am i right in thinking if i solder this part very carefully back in the problem might be resolved?
I am not sure what this cylinder part is and I cannot find a diagram for it online but I can see no other explanation.
Any opinions are gladly received and thanks for taking the time to read this and help.
