wooden pedelec with Bosch drive

his bike is made from Walnut with a lighter core of Cherry. the darker wood is Wenge. The drive unit , control is by Bosch . the bike is a superb ride with various power settings available. the control unit displays the speed and keeps a record of mileage, hours etc and gives you mileage remaining in the battery. The Bosch drive is extremely smooth and virtually silent. The bike is very quick but is speed limited to 23mph for safety.

I have tried to go for a roadster type feel for this bike but I leave that to the viewer to decide if it has been successful

Looks very nice. I didn’t click the link but I assume it’s laminated rather like a wartime Mosquito. If it’s good enough for a 400 knot aeroplane why not a bike frame.

I'm slightly fascinated by wooden bikes. I've seen quite a few designs.
