Must be me, I only looked at the site for a few minutes.. but couldn't see any reference to bike sizes?
Yes, production from Chinese based e-bike only companies tends to be "one size fits all". It's the European manufacturers, especially bicycle manufacturers who have added e-bikes to their production, who do ranges of sizes.

Spambots

I don't know too much about these matters but I'd be concerned my PC was acting like a Spambot. I'd be inclined to run a virus checker. There again it might just be a glitch on the wisper site.
Thanks, Barnowl. I don't think virus checkers do anything about Spambots, and my AVG antivirus and my StopZilla say I have no problems. I don't know of anything that does stop Spambots, or how to find out if my computer is affected by them.:(

Anti spambot software normally takes the form of protecting your website or protecting your website published email address from spam being sent to it.

I think the problem in this case is possibly that Wisper have that protection software which is misinterpreting your contact. If you did have your email address book infected, AVG should have found that if you have it's mail checking feature activated.

Could possibly be a browser issue with Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox (apparently). Try googling the message you receive and see if anyone else has had the same problem - and fixed it.

Yes it was something I read but I think it refers to something that's turned on or off at the web site end rather than the user accessing the form.

Yes, AVG does check my emails. So, maybe there's a glitch with the Wisper warranty registration form.

I think they are one size fits all, the 905 certainly is.
Yes, Mussels & flecc.. I know they use the "one size fits all". "One size fits most" would be more correct but sellers could still provide potential customers with bike dimensions.

I agree it would be helpful, but the absence is probably due to the e-bike customer base both in China and much of the export market being largely ignorant of such matters as bike sizing.

Wisper do have a fair number of dealers covering the length of Britain and also appear at a number of show venues, so it will probably be possible to get sat on one to check.

It is definately a case of one size fits most as I find it slightly too small but that's down to the length of the seatpost rather than the frame size. There are people taller than me that say they find it is plenty big enough so I guess on a mountain bike it's very difficult to say what size frame suits and as the top bar is sloping it's possibly irrelevant unless you are a midget.

I would be grateful if David, or any other representative from Wisper would just clarify the current position (& future intentions) around introducing a broader range of frame sizes for the 905 model. It is certainly an issue for me & is a subject that has appeared on a number of forum discussions over the past 6 months. Many thanks.

I'm not looking to change my e-bike flecc. I'm still very happy with my Synergie Mistral I bought last March. Done 1500 miles so far.. and the only maintenance I've done is to adjust the brake cables once and oil the chain occasionally. Oh, nearly forgot, and mend a couple of back wheel punctures.

That's good. :) As for the punctures, well, they happen to the best, just one of the joys of cycling.

Warranty registration and bike sizes

Hi Guys

There was indeed a problem with the site and the forms in particular, the gremlin has been found and booted out.

Regarding frame sizes, we will be bringing out a 28" 705 later in the year but the 905 will not be up sized in the immediate future. It is something we are looking at but we have so much going on at the moment the new frame will have to wait for a few months.

Best regards David

Hi

Have you ever had any frame problems because my friend jonny told me always get a bike with frames from Taiwan or Europe not China. He was a pro jumper and advises me at work of what is best.

Try and make a bike for someone over 190cm.

Thx
