Hi can anyone help I have just purchased my second ebike this one is for my wife. I love my bergamont so I picked up a wisper 705 se second hand, all looked good on 1st inspection so gave it a full service charged up 575 watt battery and took it for a run.

My issue, on start up the assist part of the display is on the 1st setting but is flashing press the positive button and the flashing stops, press again and it moves as it should to the second speed all good. Unfortunately there's no assist when I start to pedel.

The throttle works perfectly and the bike flys along no problem at all but i really want it to work in pedel assist mode.
My best guess is there a issue with the signal from the motor telling the battery I'm pedeling seems to not getting a signal that I'm turning the pedel.

Please help kind regards Chris.

The PAS is the standard magnet disc and sensor located under the BB, so check they are aligned. The magnets must pass by the sensor with about a 1 or 2mm gap.

The display receives the PAS signal from the controller via the PAS sensor, battery & hub motor have no say in the signal.

I did find a fault with the sensor however due to the present virus issues there's been a long delay on delivery of replacement part.
I will update when I receive the part and install. Kind regards Chris
