Has anyone have a wiring diagram for a Wisper 905, have a fault where the bike looses power and cuts out, the motor connector to the controller has been replaced as it had overheated, the fault is erratic, can go for a period then cuts out, wait and it comes back on, is there a thermal cut out in the controller, did read somewhere that there’s a resistor in the controller that overheats, have stripped the controller down but no signs of anything getting hot or overheating, can anyone help, thanks.

Controller mosfets act in the way you describe, they will temporaryily short out once thye get too hot.
Riding too slowly up gradients will produce the effect.
Tell tale sign of the mosfets cutting out is the controller is as hot to handle as a hot spud.

More likely it's a knackered battery. Also, some Wispers had problems with melted fuse holders in the battery, so you should check that too.

Dismantled the battery pack, 36 x 3.6v/3.7v 18650 2500mah batteries in series/ parallel, 1 battery on the underside showing signs of decay (see pictures), replaced faulty cell, a bit of a fiddle, disconnected wiring, used a 500w iron to solder new battery in, re-assembled, tested, runs like new, cheaper that a new battery, very happy friend
