With the bad weather do you have a winter bike ,after a recent ride it almost took as long to clean the mud off than the ride time.
Time for a rethink and a change of direction
So found a cheap full suspension Rockrider 9.1 with scrapes and paint chips so i do not have that sinking feeling or have to worry if it gets a ding
Wanted a sleeper that looks odd but goes well ,this goes back to my favourite car 1980 Lotus Sunbeam wish still had them:oops: [Loads Of Trouble Usually Serious]
So upgrade the brakes change all the service parts and throw in a bbs02 make it as ugly and tatty as possible and go out to play;)IMG_20210112_133522352.jpg

I have 11 bikes. None of them are winter specific, but some get used more during the winter because they have lights, guards, etc, whereas others do not.

Those that do get used in the winter murk get cleaned every few weeks, and steel or plated parts sprayed with ACF50. 20 minutes every few weeks is hardly onerpus.

None have suffered any corrosion at all, and the oldest is 43 years of age. Coincidentally, the oldest bike is a 1978 Elswick Hopper in Lotus JPS colours, a special edition to celebrate them winning the F1 championship that year.
