I saw a full page ad for G-Tech in the paper the other day, think it was the Express. Anyway, my first thought was that it must be overpriced to fund such an advertising campaign, now I hear it's on TV too, so reinforcing my suspicion. I never buy anything pushed like this, guess I'm a contrarian consumer !
To have value (in more ways than one) something has to be dug for, searched out, be not easily come by.

Just had a mail delivery from GTECH.
As a valued customer I am offered not only the bike and God cordless mower but a cordless strimmer as well..
We own the vaccume which I expect will be like the bicycle... it works quite well but won't replace a propper one..

My only gripe is that whenever I mention that I have an electric bike the next thing said is invariably "Is it a GTech?". I then have to explain that GTech aren't the only guys in the market.
I have a lot to thank the company for, I started with cordless hoovers on the GTech and it converted me completely to losing the wire. Couldn't put up now with all the faff of unwinding, plugging in, tripping, getting tangled then unplugging and rewinding. We have now upgraded to a more powerful Bosch cordless and it's my bestest friend (after my Husband of course:))
Anyone want to buy a used, unloved Dyson??!!

Joking aside it's progress...
I bought a Mountfield 48v cordless mower and the l'ion battery also powers a tiller and a hefty strimmer and they all work really well. Also available and a chain saw and brush cutter.
All utilising the same battery.

B&Q where selling a similar range from Macalister.A few people on here are using the 36v 4ah batteries to power there bikes. They where on offer £34 with a charger.
Lidl have a 36v lawnmower it has what looks like the Macalister battery but is only 2.6 ah.Same case lower capacity cells inside.

And Hubby wouldn't be without his cordless drill or screwdriver, as you say, progress. One day we will probably be totally cordless.
