Why pay for software upgrade?

Can anyone tell me the benefits of software upgrades that they have noticed on Bosch bikes? Specifically with the Intuvia head unit and the performance line motors?

Seems like the benefits are marginal at best but I may be wrong here -my bike is only 2 years old but will no doubt be an antique in terms of the software its running.

The only thing I'd ideally want to improve is the time keeping the bosch clock which is consistently slow!

True - it just niggles me every time. Just as well Bosch don't make watches as part of their day job.

Very cool:cool:, bet it's not cheap
Your not wrong there, I paid £45 for mine Green body & white face for my green cube . I did have one of those £5 digital jobs but difficult to see and the battery lasted less than 2 months, so when my thunder ball numbers came up (well £100 worth) I thought I'd treat myself :p
There are some similar analog jobs available for £20-£30ish but I think the speedlifters better quality
