Personally, I don't have time to read fiction apart from the Pedelec Forum:eek:
Bit like me, I thought all fiction is trash. I think I was about 11 at most when I last read any fiction book and even as a kid I've never read a single comic.

I've been an avid reader most of my life. Read almost everything from Stephen King, Dean Koontz and James Herbert. Also a big fan of Ben Elton and Bill Bryson. Biographies. Travel, especially motorcycle travel. I also like history, recently read a shocking and terrifying account of the Russian Gulag's. I've also recently got into crime fiction, The Girl Who trilogy was a great read.
Since getting a Kindle and now a Nook as well, I read all sorts of stuff from authors I've never heard of before. Loads of stuff is free or just a few pence.

You should try The Science of Discworld, Flecc. I think you'd like it. The fiction part of it at first seems silly, but actually is very thought provoking as the theme develops through the story.

I've read few Discworld books and other stuff from this author. I wouldn't say i'm a huge fan of Terry Pratchett, but every time i'm reading one of his books i'm tittering away out loud.

I've read some of his other books, which didn't appeal so much. One I found a bit silly, so I gave up on it. It's the comparison between fact (supposed) and fiction in The Science of Discworld that makes it so interesting, because in the end, it makes you wonder which is which?

It does look an interesting concept, but time is the problem as much as anything, I just don't have enough of it for everything at present, which is one of the reasons my posting rate in here has declined so much up to the present short burst. Earlier this month it was running at a tenth of what it once was.
