Which s-pedelec?

This is more me thinking ahead. I'll probably get the Woosh folding Rambletta bike for my needs thus far

What bike should I get should I want a speed pedelec? I'm aware that I'd need a CBT licence. I'd probably want to look at both folding, and non folding bikes too. My current commute is 15 miles either way. I guess a speed pedelec would allow me to live about 5 miles further out, and get there at the same amount of time? Getting up to speeds averaging 20mph?

30 miles is a long way you might as well get a moped much easier

If the need is still to go for S- ped a specific built one should be easier to register then a dongled bike which would need extra testing to get any paper work passed.
The other issue is to probe insurers for cost and whether they actually will insure one,
to be legal on a speed ped I think as Deus says buy a proper moped or a legal leccy one which is easier to insure.
I still can't get my head around anyone stupid enough to want a peddle bike with a number plate. Our regs need changing to be a bit more in line with some of the EU, esp Denmark or Germany with respect to S -peds.

15 miles on a legal e-bike is quite easy i do not see the need for a S-pedlec

Sure. I was thinking that I could live just a bit further out ie: 5 miles further in the future to live a bit cheaper, and get an s-pedelec

I'm guessing for a non foldable one, you could probably de-restrict a Woosh Karoo?
