It might take a little while.

Today's news is that the Republic are likely to lose their minority government next Tuesday after an opposition vote of no confidence. Since the Northern Ireland Assembly has been suspended for ages with no prospect of a return, the whole country will then be ungoverned.

Some might see not having any government as the perfect solution to all the problems.
